2013-11-13 22:21#143528 Kane : Not sure about the title to be honest, it put me off slightly. I'll keep a close eye though, I suppose. Good luck.
Can't please everybody I guess, but you can't judge a book by it's cover can you? Cheers mate for the words though.

It's not so much judging a book by it's cover. That would be a title like 'My Football Manager Story'. The story was judged because the title may offend some people....
I've changed the title, which was not only offensive to several members of this site, but also very distasteful and quite frankly stupid to have as a title. You can change the title again by editing the first post, but please try to make it something less...bad.
Kane + Rablador - Yes it is a bit of a stereotype when I think of it, so yes I understand. I will try and avoid the use of anything reguarding the matter, cheers.
Well said rab, and a much better title now mate, good luck!

"Klopp needs to stop being childish and grow up" - Keller

http://ewallstreeter.com/post-images/soccer/arsenal-must-fear-only-team-in-champions-league-says-jurgen-klopp.jpg
In a reply to Dortmund manager, Jurgen Klopp's message, Jens Keller has attacked Klopp by saying he needs to stop attacking "childish." Klopp talked about Keller last week, saying him and his team played like "ballarinas and lacked energy, unlike him and Dortmund who were more like rockstars." "He's just a baby, we all know it, for a long time as well. He thinks he and his team are unbeatable and they prance around like they own Europe, like they are champions of it well, I can tell you, Bayern are at the moment and then, it will be Schalke and then we can watch Dortmund sink! Sink to the depths of the relegation zone and we can have the last laugh on you, Klopp!"

did you know hitler was a shalke fan and shalke won every bundesliga title during his reign of terror?

the more you know.

Not in fact true. For starters, the Bundesliga started in 1963, and it was previously just a series of Oberligen which became a knockout competition at the end, and secondly, they lost the first final under Hitler's reign to Fortuna Dusseldorf, and one final was even fixed against Schalke, and by Hitler as Rapid Wien won for political reasons. Schalke led the 1941 Final 3-0 after an hour against Rapid Wien, when Wien scored, then had two dubious penalties and got a free kick just outside the box - for no reason, within 3 minutes. Schalke also had some of the best players of the time (Ernst Kuzorra, Fritz Szepan, Adolf Urban, Otto Tibulski) and the best style of play (nicknamed the Spinning Top for their passing game). The reason the national side didn't do well is because Schalke was a family club (most players were married to another member of the team's sister) and Germany would only pick Kuzorra or Szepan, who didn't play well without their 'mates'.

The more you know :P

Oh and nice update, though irl Keller is the idiot and it's funny how that post is bigger than your update :P

Klose back in Germany

Miroslav Klose has moved back to his home nation, Geramny, after a 2 year spell at Lazio in Italy. Klose joined for just 3 million pounds to Schalke, which has caused a stir due to the fact Klose played at Bayern for 4 years. "I am delighted, it is a fantastic signing for the club and Klose is a real hero for our nation, he's a icon, a person who the children of today can look up on and say I want to be like Klose, I want to play for Germany, I want to score lots of goals and be proud."

Klose played at the likes of Werden Berman and Bayern Munich before joining Lazio and has played over 130 games for Germany and scored 78 in them, leading to why many people believe he is such a footballing great for both club and country.

"Ready to prove a point!" - Keller

Schalke enjoyed a enjoyable pre season as they decided to play mostly small teams, to warm up for the new Bundersliga season. 5 wins from a possible 6, meant Schalke are full of confidence ahead of the campaign.

Schalke romped against Zenit as they didn't show up, resulting in Schalke picking up on the performance and picking up a 4-0 win, despite playing a full reserve lineup to Zenit's first team with the likes of Danny, Hulk and Witsel playing in the entertaining game. Wattenscheid, Herne and Westerlo were 2 other teams to feel the rath of Schalke.

Schalke will feel confident ahead of the German cup 1st round where they will play 2nd division side, Aue.

"Dominated and dominated"... - Keller

0-1

Schalke dominated in the German Cup 1st round, as they defeated Aue from the 2nd division 1-0 to progress to the 2nd round. Anderson started after completing a loan on Friday from Manchester United, but had to be stretched off after just 27 minutes after a late challenge from central defender, Thomas Paulus. Schalke made 30 shots, 16 of them on target, to Aue's 2 shots, which they both got on target.

Schalke started well, as Jones went on a run and shot from the edge of the area, forcing a save from Aue keeper, Mannel. As Schalke piled the pressure on, the best chance of the first half came when Julien Draxler cut in from the left and hit the cross bar with a curling effort, which had Schalke manager, Keller jumping up and down in awe of the lovely effort.

The goal then finally came when a free kick came in from the right and Klose's shot was blocked, before falling to Draxler who forced a fantastic save from the keeper, who could only parry it straight to Howedes who hit the ball into a empty net.

After the match, Aue shed many tears, after the defeat who yet were dominated against, only lost by that 1 goal. After questions about the crying, Aue manager Falke Gote replied, "Yes the players were upset and they were right to be, they played well, they held out but just didn't get past the back 4 and score, simple."
