It has emerged today that Jose Mourinho has been sacked by Chelsea chairman Roman Abramovic. No official reason has surfaced yet, but it is widely thought the Russian billionaire and the 'Special One' had a dispute over wages.

A new coach has not been appointed yet, but Paddy Power have made Antonio Conte the favorite at 3:1. Diego Simeone follows at 5:1 and Marcelo Biesla at 6:1.
Fairly good start, maybe try making it abit neater and easy on the eye, good luck :)

BREAKING NEWS: The Second Coming
Chelsea legend Gianluca Vialli has been revealed as their new manager. This decision comes a week after the controversial decision to dispose of the 'Special One'; Jose Mourinho.

This appointment may surprise many, with candidates such as Diego Simeone and Antonio Conte favorites to lead the Blues on. Vialli was appointed player-manager of Chelsea in February 1998, and went on to become the most successful manager to date; winning five major trophies in just three years. He was sacked in the 2001/01 season due to a poor start and having fell out with several players. Despite his past, owner Roman Abramovic is confident Vialli is the man to take Chelsea forward.
Chelsea fans have already taken to Twitter, and so far, the majority are pleased to see the legend return to the Bridge. Former team mate and friend Gianfranco Zola has told Sky Sports News that he is pleased for Vialli and is sure he will take the club to the next level.
Thanks for the feedback guys
A decent start. A bit of background info on the manager could be nice!

Thanks, just writing the manager background now

Gianluca Vialli is an Italian manager and former professional football player. He has recently been appointed manager of Chelsea Football Club. Vialli started his career at Cremonese in 1980 where he made 105 league appearances, scoring 23 goals. He signed for Sampdoria in 1984. During his time at the club, he scored 85 league goals, won 3 Italian cups, the Serie A and the European Cup Winners Cup. In 1992, Vialla signe for Juventus for a world record fee of £12.5 million. During this time, he won the Italian Cup, the Serie A, Italian Supercup, UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Cup. Chelsea FC signed the striker in 1996; and became player-manager the following season. In England, he won the FA Cup, League Cup, UEFA Cup Winners Cup and UEFA Super Cup.

He is one of nine footballers to have won the three main European club competitions: UEFA Champions League, UEFA Cup and the European Cup Winners Cup.He is also the only player in European footballing history to have winner's and runner's up medals in all three main European club competitions.

Vialli started his international career in the 1984 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championships. He then reappearred at the same competition two years later. Overall, he represented Italy U21 20, scoring 11 goals.

In 1985, Vialli made his debut for the Italy senior team in a friendly match against Poland. He was then included in Italy's squad for the 1986 FIFA World Cup held in Mexico; appearing in four matches as a substitute. He scored his first goal against Malta in a Euro 1988 qualifier against Malta. With the 1990 FIFA World Cup being held in Italy, Vialli was expected to make a huge impact for the hosts. However, after failing to score in the first match against Austria, Vialli missed a penalty against the United States in the next match and was dropped from the team. Vialli returned to the team for the semi-final against Argentina, but was substituted in the second half as Italy were eliminated on penalties.
Vialli made his last appearance for the Azzurri in December 1992, his strained relationship with coach Arrigo Sacchi bringing his international career to a premature end.

Key Players

Note: I am not sure on tactic or specific player positions yet so I have not included that in this setion.

Juan Mata

Juan Mata is an attacking midfielder who plays for Chelsea since. He previously played for Real Madrid Castilla (2006-07) where he scored 10 goals in 39 appearances. After his stint at Madrid, he signed for Valencia in 2007. Here, he made 129 appearances with 33 goals. In 2011, he signed for Chelsea. So far, he has netted 18 goals in a total of 76 games. Over the last few seasons, Mata has established himself as a key play within the Chelsea setup; winning Player of the Year within his first season.

As you can see, Mata is already an outstanding player. With a report of a 'star player' already at the age of 24, he is most definitely a MUST in this Chelsea team.
Good luck and welcome.

Eden Hazard

Eden Hazard is an attacking midfielder/winger that plays for Chelsea FC. He started his youth career at Royal Stade Branios in 1995. He remained here until 2003, when he signed for Tubize. However, his career here only lasted for two years when he signed for Lille OSC in 2005. It took him only two years more to get promoted to the Lille first team; where he remained for five years. In his time here, he scored 36 goals in 147 appearances. In the summer of 2012, Hazard made the move to Chelsea for a £32 million transfer fee. So far into his time here, he has played 45 games and scored 13 goals.

As you can see, Eden Hazard is a star player for Chelsea. His outstanding dribbling, agility, pace, flair and creativity, (along with the other stats!) makes him one of the best players in the world. These stats in particular make him the perfect forward for my team.

Oscar dos Santos Emboaba Júnior

Oscar dos Santos is an attacking midfielder/winger who plays for Chelsea FC. Oscar started his youth career at União Barbarense in 1998. He remained here until 2004 when he signed for Sau Paulo. In 2008, he was introduced into the first team at Sau Paulo, and was promoted the following year. During his spell in the Sau Paulo first squad (2009-10), Oscar made 11 appearances but didn't manage to score any goals. His time at Sau Paulo came to an end in 2010 when he signed for Internacional. In his two years at the club, he played 36 games in which he scored 11 goals. In 2012, Oscar signed for Chelsea. Within his first two years at the club, he has scored 8 goals in 45 games. Oscar has become a fan favorite as a result of his youth and flair; and is highly regarded as one for the future throughout the world.

His well rounded stats already make him one of the best forwards in the game. With his potential ability, the right amount of game time and training could lead him to becoming one the best in the world.
NOTE: GAMES ARE BASED ON LEAGUE GAMES NOT CHAMPIONS LEAGUE OR CUP
Please comment any players you'd like to see in my squad. My current squad at the moment:
