After a club meeting down in Scunthorpe, Manager Brian Lawes walked out unemployed. After having a argument with the chairman, Peter Swann decided to relive Lawes of his managerial duties. They have been rumored to have argued about where scunthorpe would finish. Lawes had no faith in The Iron.
Lawes spent a short time at Scunthorpe taking over in 2012, but Lawes did manage the iron back in 1997 up till 2004 where he went on to manage Sheffield Wednesday and Burley.
Favorite to get this job is Steve Kean but unknown rookie Adam Stubbs has been tipped off to many bookies as the new manager of Scunthorpe. This would be a shock appointment.
