Arsène Wenger Retires

Arsène Wenger has stepped down as manager of Arsenal FC and has ended his long successful career in management after stating that he 'will not manage again'. Arsène first joined Arsenal in 1996 and signed some of the worlds best ever players. Wenger is identified as one of the greatest managers to manage in the Premier League. This was justified in 03-04 season where he led his Arsenal side to a unbeaten season in the premier league winning 26 games. Arsenal are the only team in history to do this and were nicknamed the invincibles
Arsène Wenger believes that the board will appoint the right man in taking the club further forward. Wenger stated 'they are clever people at Arsenal and they know what they are doing. The right man will be appointed and with the group of players he is inheriting he is sure to be successful.
