Hey guys - Newbie here. First year owning the game. Starting out with FMC. First job was MLS-Sporting KC. Didn't last a full season. Got hired by Oxford United in League Two. Took over there 11 games into the season with team in 23rd with 7 points. I'm now 35 games into the season and have them in 11th with 50 points. That's 43 pts in 24 games so it's a lot better than I did at KC.

Anyway, when I took over the club I don't remember anything being said about financial issues. Not long into the job I was told my player weekly salary budget would be $34k. It was at $50k at the time. I let a few players go who were on loan and we were paying some of the salary. It is now at $45k per week. I went through the January transfer window and offered some of my "excess" guy at face value. No one wanted them so I started dropping the asking price. But how far do you go? For example, i have a guy valued at 65K with a 1.6K/wk salary. I cut my price to 22k with no takers. The window came and went. The board confidence says I'm stable, but I'm in the yellow on finances. When I took over they wanted me to achieve a "respectable finish in league two" I think I've met that, but should I worry about being sacked?

A few times, I'll get an email saying that the "disapponting Oxford clubs faces a must win". Or we are referred to as "financially troubled". Anyone else see this and if so, how concerned should I be and if I need to dump salary, am I doing it wrong?

Any tips or hints would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

PS: great game btw!
