Carlo Ancelotti has today announced that he will be leaving Real Madrid to take the vacant Italy job. Ancelotti, who played 26 games for Italy during his senior career believes it should be every managers dream to become the manager of their country. Ancelotti believes that the Real Madrid board will appoint the right man and says the squad he has left behind are a group of 'winners'
This means Real Madrid will be on the search for a new manager. Various managers names have popped up with strong rumours going around that Roberto Mancini will take the lead role at Real Madrid. Mancini has sparked more rumours when questioned by saying 'anything can happen'. Another manager heavily linked with the vacancy is current Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp. Real Madrid are not giving any hints away on who the successor could be.
