Access Violation GS14g

Can anyone help me with this problem. Just ordered the GS14g by donation. When I start Genie Scout it can't load the graphics, but still I get in to the program. When I try to load a saved game it gives me this error message. Anyone who knows how to fix this or is it because it's a Beta version?

When does this message appear? And what OS do you use?

I ordered GS14 by donation aswell, been using it for 2 weeks, it worked fine. Now, without any reason, i have an error message each time i try to load a game. Ths version of GS14 i have is the last one (02 december). My OS is Windows XP SP3, and my game is version 14.1.3.

Can u plz help me? It's really frustrating. One day it was working, next day, didn't want to load any game.

I had the same problem. So.....run FOOTBALL MANAGER and press " LOAD GAME" not " LOAD LAST GAME"... from open genie scout and it run perfectly. sorry for my english but use google translate

Can anyone help me with this:Just ordered the GS14g by donation. When I start Genie Scout, it can't load the game,at the point "converting people indexes" .
Then a message appears saying : Access Violation at address 008AFB4F in module "FMGenieScout.exe".Write of address 00000044.
My OS is Windows XP Ser.P3, game version is 14.2

No sorry, it doesn't work for me. I noticed my "access violation" problem was linked to my Windows update. Earlier today i downloaded latest version of GS14g, installed it, and it worked perfectly. Now that i come back home, i start the computer, run FM, and now GS14g doesn't work, access violation again. Damn!!!!

I tried again, and still, access violation error. So i uninstaled GS14, ran a computer + register cleaning with CCleaner, reinstalled GS14, and now it works. I may have to do this each time i turn my computer on, pretty annoying, but still better than nothing

I'll tell u if it works again next time i'll try.

False hope, doesn't work anymore (again), access violation.

Same here, with FM Scout 14 v1.1 142.0 build 412.
Any suggestions ?

Make sure you are all using the latest v1.1 14.2.2 build 414 and also that your game version is 14.2.2.

Access violation errors that I have had before relate to user privileges on computers, your save games by default are saved in My Document/sports interactive/Football Manager 2014.

Try changing permissions of these folders so anyone can access them, modify and write.

Also make sure your own user account has administrator privileges.

The other thing you can try is install genie scout elsewhere on your computer, such as my documents..or moving your game save somewhere else like your desktop and loading it from there.

When testing this, don't "load last game", instead make sure you select the game you want to load.

Oh and on top of that, make sure you have Football Manager running at the same time or it will not work.
