Hello and welcome to my first FM14 story. I'm going to count this as my first actual story because anything else I have tried has failed miserably. So lets just say that this is my first FMScout story.

The idea of this story
Basically I wanted this story to be different to others on the site. I haven't seen anything like this on here so far but I may be wrong. What I'm going to do is write a story like normal, but I'm making the majority of the important decisions up to you (the readers). So that is the general idea of this story.

Who am I?
I'm going to be legend of world football, winner of the world cup and the master of the Hand of God. Diego Maradona!

This is using the FM14 demo, I was going to wait till I get the full game, but I honestly have been bursting to write this since FM14 came out!
Do we decide the team? If so, Zenit. :d good luck.

I don't get it, I have the best life. I have the money, the women and I can say I was a better footballer than Lionel Messi. But somehow, I don't feel right, I feel incomplete, like....something is missing from my life. Why shouldn't I be happy though? I am sunbathing outside my massive summer villa in Madrid and I have two beautiful women by my side. What is it? It's something that all my money, my mass amounts of moolah, can't buy. Well I probably could buy it. I want to be a manager again. I haven't managed for about a year now, since, Al Wasl, which didn't even feel like a proper job, before I took the job, I hadn't even heard of them. Well, they are pretty much unknown Arabic club. I want the thrills and the sense of accomplishment and passion that I had when I managed Argentina. I need to get back out there. In the big leagues. But who is going to want to take me on after I crashed and burned in the world cup. I mean I didn't even do that bad. It's just it's apparently pretty bad that I was only able to get to the quarter finals with a team like Argentina. It's time to get back out there! Manage a team, get even more money and and even more women. It will be just like the old days. Minus the cocaine.
Nice start :)

Diego Maradona(shown above) is reportedly looking for work.

Earlier today, Argentinian football legend, Diego Maradona publicly announced his interest to get back to into football management. Diego Maradona is one of the biggest legends in world football. Known for his world famous cheat, the Hand of God, where he pushed the ball into the back of his net with his hand, Maradona has earned 91 caps and 34 goals for Argentina. He has been unemployed now for 1 year following his departure from virtually unknown, Arabic football club, Al Wasl. His biggest managerial job though was before that when he spent two years at the Argentinian national team, guiding them to an arguably disappointing place in the quarters finals of the 2010 World Cup where they were knocked out following a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Germany. Since his unemployment, Maradona has been living it up in different villas scattered around the world, going to wherever the grass is green and the girls are pretty. Few clubs have shown interest in Diego, the biggest club being his former team, Napoli , following the recent sacking of Rafa Benitez who has been arrested for being part of a drug scandal in Madrid, Spain.
It's been a month or so now, but I finally have job offers. Hallelujah! Quite a few as well, four in total. They aren't really bad, unknown teams as well. It feels so good to have this chance to get back into football management. I mean, it has been great to have a break from everything and experience life abroad, but it is becoming a bit of a boring life now. Nothing much to do, but, go swimming, sit in the sun and watch reruns of an American TV show called Baywatch. Now though, I have to make a desicion. 4 teams have given me interviews, which job do I take? All seem like pretty good job offers considering how long I have been out of it. So....What team do I join?

West Bromwich Albion
Newell's Old Boys
Napoli
Sevilla

Sorry for this update being kinda rushed and short. I am just dying to start the save
Just a quick reminder that I can't carry this story on without feedback!
You will join Sevilla:P
Newells Old Boys sounds like a good starting point mate, good story so far
These are the replies I got then, since there is a draw of votes I will be putting both teams into a randomiser...
