October-Squeaky bum time

Atletico Madrid 1-1 Bayern Munich

Our second Champions league game was away to Atletico Madrid. We played a strong side and Pizarro started for the third game in a row. Meanwhile Kirchhoff was preferred to Boateng. We started the game poorly and Müller was at fault. Gabi played a long ball to the far post from a corner. Müller won the header but headed it back across goal to David Villa who nodded home to give Atletico the lead on 6 minutes. At the start of the first half, Kroos headed the ball in the box and Thiago brought it down. He found Müller who made up for his earlier mistake by smashing it into the corner to bring us level and that is how it ended. The match was fairly even. Madrid had the most shots with 14 but only 1 found the target and it went in. We had a few less shots but 6 on target. The possession stats were also fairly equal with us just coming out on top.

VFB Stuttgart 0-1 Bayern Munich

Our next fixture was an away game at Stuttgart. Pizarro retained his starting place but played alongside Mandzukic, at the back Dante missed out on a place and Boateng and Kirchhoff started together for the first time. The only goal of the game came on 66 minutes when Alaba fired it in the box with his weak foot. Mandzukic brought it down before unleashing a bullet of an effort into the top corner. It was a game with very few chances and there was nothing else of note, however Stuttgart played well and their fans may feel that they didn’t deserve to lose.

Bayern Munich 1-0 Borussia Monchengladbach

Then we had to play Borussia Monchengladbach at home. Pizarro didn’t start this time and Volland did. Dante came back into the side at the expense of Boateng. On 26 minutes, Volland justified his selection. After a great passing move the young striker ran in behind the centre backs and blasted home to give us the lead and what turned out to be the only goal of the game. We dominated the game with 61% possession and 13 shots compared to Gladbach’s 3.

Bayern Munich 2-1 Celtic

Our second Champions League game of the month was at the Allianz arena and Celtic were the visitors. Mandzukic came in up front for Volland, Ribery and Müller were on the wings while Thiago played in Centre mid alongside Schweinsteiger. The deadlock was broken just after the half-hour mark. Thiago swung a corner into the near post and Dante swooped in to hit it on the half volley and the it beat Forster. However it didn't take Celtic long to reply. Only 3 minutes later and former Schalke striker Teemu Pukki had drawn Celtic level. Boerriggter delivered a ball from the by-line. It beat everyone at the back and Pukki snuck in to score. It took us a while to regain our lead. This time it was Kroos standing over the corner. He delivered it to the same spot and Dante applied a similar finish. In the dying moments of the game we had a major scare. Rafinha tackled Buckley from behind in the box. The ref pointed to the spot immediately. However it was not Celtic's day as Neuer flew to the right of his goal to deny Joe Ledley from 12 yards. It was a brilliant save and one that earned us 3 points.

Hamburg SV 1-0 Bayern Munich

Finally we made the long trip up North to play Hamburg. Volland and Pizarro started up front together while Thiago and Müller sat behind them. Boateng came in for Kirchhoff and Schweinsteiger got the nod over Kroos. The game was a stalemate with no clear cut chances. However the deadlock was broken on 89 minutes. The Hamburg right back Lam Zhi Gin floated a cross towards the near post. It was a bad one and Neuer went to claim it. He was challenged a little by Rudnevs but not that much. Suddenly the ball trickled over the line. Neuer had let it slip through his fingers. He complained to the referee but he did nothing. From hero to zero for Neuer as he lets a point get away.
your graphics and updates are awesome!!! I love this story!

Jason: Thanks man, except for the Gladbach kit *shudder*

Jontearonsson: Thanks, although there are some really good stories out there.
Very tight month. I can't imagine what your heart rate must have been like in some of those games. A shame to lose so late v Hamburg but it was a decent month overall :)
Celtic kit. Why, oh God why :P

Martinez's moment

http://www.nigerianmonitor.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/javi-martinez-bayern-munich_2914143.jpg
I stood and reached for my belt. I unbuckled it and let the trousers fall to my ankles. I looked at the door and sat. The seat was cold. I decided that I would try to finish my business quickly. As I sat I thought about the game. It was quiet in here, but that didn't last long. A small roar made it's way into the toilet. I was confused and so I finished what In was doing. I washed my hands and ran out to the tunnel. I turned to our dugout and there was a crowd of players in blue. They were ours. In front of all of them was Javi Martinez . He was looking for someone and I didn't know who. He was searching with eyes and I saw Dom shrug his shoulders. Javi gave up and turned back. He retreated to the pitch and the referee blew the whistle. He seemed disgruntled. I walked back to my seat and asked Dom what was going on.

"Hey what was Javi doing over here. I'm guessing he scored but who was he looking for?"

"YOU. Who did you think he was looking for? You dumbass."

"Woah. I didn't expect that".

"Sorry, it's just that he's pretty mad at you."

"Really, why?"

"Well it was his special moment"

"Was his goal that good?"

"Look at the screen"

I looked up at the screen and I was amazed. I stood in shock. My mouth was wide open. I looked at Dom and he nodded at me. I looked over at the pitch and Javi gave me a scowl. I swore under my breath and I sat in my chair. I played the goal over in my mind. The corner was headed away by Morrison to the edge of the box. Javi stepped backwards and then launched himself into the air. He faked to hit it with his right and then smashed it with his left. The ball flew into the corner. Forster had no chance. I sat up and shook out of it.

.....5 minutes later.....

I watched the referee blow the whistle and I waited for Javi. They all walked over to the tunnel. I saw him amongst the crowd and I put my arm round him and he looked at me. He took my arm off of himself. He decided to walk away and I quickly reached out to grab his arm. He turned and looked at me. I apologized but he still walked away. I never thought someone could be so mad over a goal celebration. I watched as he walked into the dressing room. It was time for the team-talk. So I went into the dressing room and stood smack in the middle of the horrible Celtic changing room. The walls were green and the seats were wooden. They were cold and uncomfortable. I heard they had put this in at the start of the season.

"Ok, 2 goals up and we should be winning this. We have improved on our performance from last time so we're almost there. Just keep this up. We've scored some fantastic goals today, Javi and David great work. I would like to keep a clean sheet as well. A 2-0 win would be fantastic and it would be great if we scored a couple more. Ok we still have a while left of half time. Dom has prepared some notes and he would like to go through some things. Javi can I see you outside for a bit."

He didn't say anything but he got up. I pushed open the door and waited for him to go through. He did and he stood outside. He looked at the floor.

" Look at me Javi. I'm sorry I missed you goal but come on. I know it was a great goal, congratulations because that goal will be shown all over the world. Especially if we win this game. So come on, stop being mad at me. It's childish."

"It's not that you missed the goal. It's the celebration, you made me look like an idiot. I went over there and no one was there. The camera's picked it up"

"They won't think anything of it. I promise you."

*ring*

"There's the bell, come on lets go and win this game. "

He looked at me and managed half a smile. All the other players poured out of the changing room and I saw Martinez's name on the back of his shirt as he walked out ahead of everyone else. I managed a smile and I walked out to the dug out.
That update is one of the best i have read. Keep them up :)
Almost a costly poop. And you can gyazo that :P
Woow, great update! I'm sure Javi forgived you, but be more careful for the future!
Jason: Thanks a lot.

Louis: Almost :P

Adrian: Yeah well nature called.

Leaving for home

I sat in my seat and propped my laptop up on the little desk in front of me. I was smiling today and was in a good mood overall. I reached for my laptop and opened it up. I sat back into my deep chair. It was so comfy that I could fall asleep, but then I was distracted by the noise of my laptop. I quickly typed in my password and sat back down only to be told that I had typed in the wrong password. I groaned as I pulled my body forward. I know what I did, I wrote rEVELS, rather than Revels. I typed in the second one and it started to load. I lay back in my chair and watched the screen before grabbing the laptop and placing it on my lap so I could see the screen and relaxed. The weather report for Glasgow popped up in the middle of the screen, conveniently blocking my face in the picture of my Barca players throwing me in the air.

The little pop up showed 7 degrees Celsius and a cloud with lots of rain drops falling from it. I opened the window blind and sure enough it had started to pour down, at that moment that weather report for Munich replaced it and showed bright skies with snow. I quite liked snow and so I smiled because that's where we were going. The chrome icon in the bottom of the screen caught my eye and I clicked it. My homepage of sky sports popped up and there was a picture of an angry Neil Lennon. I smirked to myself and clicked it. It was an interview, that he had done, about me and before it read the scoreline: 2-4. David, Javi, Mario and Claudio with our goals. I didn't pay attention to their goalscorers. I was in a happy mood so I laughed at it. I thought about it for a while and carried on reading. I was done only a minute or two later. The ginger git had stormed out after someone in the journalists room said I was a better manager than him. I didn't see what the journalist had done wrong. He had only spoke the truth and if you can't deal with the truth, you shouldn't be a football manager or anyone else with some importance. However before he ran out he did give some words. He said that his side didn't deserve to get beaten and that I was only the victor because my players were superior. Like I said before that was the truth and his players should accept that but still. I found that quite disrespectful to myself but I knew that this was just some coot running his mouth and it had no bearing on anything worthwhile. He was just an angry Scottish man but it still affected me in some ways. Fortunately, today it made me laugh. I decided that that would be that and closed the window. I clicked the tab with a light blue 14 in a dark blue background and it didn't take long for the sports interactive logo to appear. I hadn't had that much time to play FM but I had always wanted too. So I brought it just before we set off for Glasgow. I started a new career and pondered who to manage for a while. I had a few options, Vauxhall Motors. I had read a great story online about them in this game, BK Forward a second division Swedish side who my brother,Pere, had played with in the same game. I thought about Boreham Wood,I had seen a story on the same site with these lot and it seemed like a lot of fun. Finally, a Finnish team called KuPS was an option as I had always liked Finland. In the end I decided to go with none of the aforementioned. I chose my old and still beloved Barcelona where I would be re-united with my old friends. When I started, I realised the real me was at Bayern. I thought about deleting it but just carried on. Firstly I didn't know how to delete it and it would be good to see how I do in the game. I looked at the flight time remaining and it was 3 hours. That left me a lot of time to play....
Interesting update to say the least :) I had no idea Pep snooped about FMScout :P
Haha now I know Pep's password (and hopefully his FMScout one too) and I'll go rob his laptop and live a day in the life of Pep xD
