Last Signing arrives and Pre Season report

Medel Arrives
From Sevilla - 14,500,000

Gary Medel has signed for Arsenal for 14.5m. Solskjaer has hit back at claims he has paid over the odds for Medel and Downing by pointing out that Downing has has a awesome pre-season and cant wait for Medel to play. This deal was nessecery as we are short at right back and will provide competition for Carl Jenkinson.

Medel is really looking forward to playing for Arsenal. 'I love the style of football Arsenal play and when I spoke to the gaffer I know that this is where I wanted to be.'

Pre Season

Falkirk 0-4 Arsenal
Podolski (17), Oxlade-Chamberlain (33), Lipman (65), Giroud (88)

Dusseldorf 0-2 Arsenal
Oxlade-Chamberlain (48), Afobe (66)
Verona 0-4 Arsenal
Podolski (pen 3), Downing (33), Mertesacker (61), Arshaven (75)
Arsenal 5-0 SLB
Koscielny (5,41), Downing (16), Vermealen (24), Giroud (38)

So a good Pre Season for Arsenal and all eyes on the first match of the season against Tottenham which is a huge first game and will be interesting to see how each of the new signings do.

Arsenal have three injuries for the start of the season. Oxlade-Chamberlain, Walcott and Arteta all are out so the new signings will get a chance to impress in such a important match.
Solskjaer has said Bennett, Downing and El Shaarawry will start.
Good signing again hopefully downing proves me wrong! Good luck against Spurs

Arsenal Undefeated in August

Arsenal had an amazing start to the season after winning 2 out of 2. Downing and Bennett impressed but by far and away the best two players this month were Per Mertscker and Santi Cazorla. Cazorla was instrumental in the 6-0 demolition of Tottenham in the first game of the season which included a sublime free kick. He also assisted with 2 goals and got booked. In Cazorla you have a no nonense box to box midfielder.
Mertsacker, made captain by Solskjaer led by example and also got second in the player of the month competition. His headed goal against Norwich was sublime hitting the bar on its way in which was an unstoppable header.

Solskjaer also got the award for Manager Of The Month. He seems to have won over the Arsenal fans already but with a 6-0 win over your nearest rivals ofcourse it will win over the fans.

Arsenal 6-0 Tottenham
Cazorla (40,70), Diaby (64, 90+1), Giroud (72), Walker o.g (75)

Norwich 1-2 Arsenal
Mertsacker (25), Cazorla (67)

I wont be posting the League table but the Champions League draw was done and Arsenal have this group.
Dynamo Kyev
Red Star

It is a group that we should breeze through!
Wow! For that victory against Tottenham, the fans will fall in love with Ole Gunner Solskjaer! Keep up the good work mate!
It seems that you have money coming out of your wazoo!

Topsy Turvy Month For The Gunners

Arsenal have had what you call a wierd month this month. It started off O.K but then had a horrible dip in the middle. It was finished with a absolute outstanding scoreline. Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was not happy and changed his formation no less than 3 times!
He started the month 4-2-3-1 then changed to a 4-4-2 which also did not work and then it went to a 4-4-1-1.
That caused the best result of the season against a very poor Aston Villa team in which Arsenal eclipsed the 5-0 they beat Tottenham with by beating Villa 8-0!

Tim Krul gets my player of the month because if it was not for him we would have lost 11-12 goals to Fulham. Fulham were extrordinary that day and deserved the win.

Arsenal 2-2 Reading
Cazorla (32), Giroud (48)

Fulham 5-2 Arsenal
Podolski (22), Senderous o.g (69)

Sunderland 1-1 Arsenal
Giroud (43)

Arsenal 8-0 Aston Villa
Wilshire (11,59,77), Cazorla (14), Lewandowski (16,89), El Shaarawy (52), Vermealen (55)

It was nice to see Lewandowski to finally score and a wonderful hattrick for Wilshire, this 8-0 saved Arsenal and means they can have a good start to next month now.
Arsenal 1-3 Wolves
Walcott (81)

Arsenal were completely embarressed in this match and it was not even a weakened team by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and he kept them in the lockers for 45 minutes after the match.

Dynamo Kyiv 1-1 Arsenal
Mertesacker (73)

Arsenal escape with a lucky 1-1 draw in what will be there toughest match in the group. the draw was about what people were suggesting as Kyiv, unbeaten in all competitions at home this season carried on there great form here. Mertesacker is heading the ball like no one else this season and long may it continue.
The Premier League Table shows Arsenal in 6th which is not the worse thing ever. Everton are the team on top and they have looked good this season too.
A good win against Aston Villa, a super good match. But a very poor match with Wolves.
yeah bebero but we are all entitled to a poor one
That Villa and Tottenham result :O . Unlucky against Fulham. You're not doing too bad in the league, but hopefully you can get some points together and climb up the table.
Yeah I have to be going for the title with the amount i have spent

Arsenal Back To There Best!

Ole Gunnar Solskjaers' decision to change the formation to a 4-4-1-1 has really paid off this month. In playing the ball out to the wings, Downing, Bennett and Walcott when they have played have performed impeccably but two men have been nothing short than sensational.
Lewandowski and El Shaarawy made sure that the Gunners ended the month unbeaten winning four and drawing one game. Bennett and Downing are making sure they keep there place in the team by there performances too, it has even earnt Stewart Downing a call back into the England squad that lost 3-0 to Poland.
The month started on the back of a EIGHT nil win against Aston Villa. A home game to Greek Champions Panithanikos, who are always a good challenge. But this was the day Elliott Bennett showed what he can do on the biggest stage. Bennett a 5.75m signing from Norwich was greeted with a lot of sceptitism from Arsenal fans. Not anymore. The first goal he scored, he played a neat one two with El Shaarawy and then planted one from 20 yards out into the top corner. He then set up Vermealen, enjoying a rare stint in the first team for a bullet header. After that match it became the Robert Lewandowski show.
Solskjaer said that is had been a good month and a draw against Man Utd was the least they deserved but bemoaned the fact that Arsenal couldn't hold on for the win.

Arsenal 2-1 Q.P.R
Cazorla (21), Lewandowski (36)

Man Utd 2-2 Arsenal
Lewandowski (30), Wilshire (pen 45)

Arsenal 3-0 Everton
Lewandowski (53), El Shaarawry (55,83)

So 2 wins and a draw in the Premier League and it was thouroughly deserved too. Early leaders Everton were despatched with ease and Arsenal can be happy with there performances.

So Arsenal go from 6th last month to 3rd at the end of this month. Solskjaer has a confidence in this squad he has got now. 3 points off Liverpool is not bad at all.

Arsenal 2-1 Panithanikos
Bennett (4), Vermealen (49)

Arsenal 4-0 Partizan
Lewandowski (47, 55, 87), Bennett (51

Arsenal dominated both Champions League matches this month and Lewandowski hit a stunning hattrick in the second half. Arsenal sit top with Kyiv behind on goal difference it all depends on that game I feel.

Player and Manager Of The Month

Stephen El Shaarawy has claimed the young player of the month award so we are going to take a look into who he is.
El Shaarawy has represented the Italy national team and Italy U21 national team, and also played for the Italy U17 national team and Italy U19 national team. He made his senior international debut in August 2012, in a friendly match against England. Three months after his international debut, El Shaarawy scored his first international goal, against France in November 2012.
Club career

El Shaarawy started his youth career in regional Serie A club, Genoa at the age of fourteen.

On 21 December 2008, when he was 16 years and 55 days old, he made his first team debut, playing ten minutes in a Serie A away match against Chievo, becoming the fourth youngest player in the history of Serie A. It was his only appearance of the season despite making the bench many times.
Padova (loan)

In June 2010 he was loaned out to Padova for the 2010–11 Serie B season. In his loan period at Padova, he quickly emerged as a key element for the team, leading the Venetian club to the promotion playoff finals where they then lost to Novara. He was awarded Serie B Player of the Year in 2011 as his glowing performance in Padova.
El Shaarawy with teammate Robinho in their pre-season friendly with Real Madrid

On 25 June 2011, El Shaarawy signed for Serie A giants Milan.

On 18 September 2011, El Shaarawy made his debut with Milan at the Stadio San Paolo in a 3–1 loss to Napoli in Serie A. Three days later, after coming on as a substitute for the injured Alexandre Pato, he scored his first goal for the club, earning his team a 1–1 draw at home against Udinese. In his first six months at Milan, he made a total of seven appearances leading to reports in the media that he may be loaned out for more playing time to help his progression. However a decision was made between Adriano Galliani, Massimiliano Allegri and himself to stay at the club for the near future. It was then that his performances for Milan began to improve and have led him to becoming one of the most highly rated youngsters in Italy. On 8 February 2012, El Shaarawy scored in a 1–2 loss against Juventus in the first leg of the 2011-12 Coppa Italia semi-final. Three days later, he scored an immensely vital winner against Udinese.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer claimed second in the manager of the month contest too.
Wow, a great detailed long update, very good and doing well...also how much money does arsenal start with because you have bought a lot of players there, for lots of money:P
Aaron - Yeah I did put there money up but only to what the team could spend
nice story mate, good luck with club :)
Liverpool top of the league, where they belong :P
