Arséne Wenger on Spurs

http://s1314.photobucket.com/user/silasthebest/media/wenger_280x390_889505a_zpsb7762c9b.jpg.html

In a recent press conference this week long serving Arsenal manager Arséne Wenger has slammed Tottenham Hotspur after they spent a lot of money in the summer.

In his pre-match press conference Wenger was asked "Who do you think will win the league this season, some are saying Manchester United, others are saying Spurs but weirdly no one has mentioned your team. Do you think you stand more of a chance of winning the league than Tottenham Hotspur?" Wegner replied with "Definitely Spurs are absolute crap, they have crap players and a crap manager, they are utter crap. I don't know why they have signed as many players as what they have, half of them aren't any good, such as Chiriches and Capoue. I would of much rather spent the money on one good player than several rubbish players, look at us we spent 40 odd million on Ozil, I'd much rather have him than any of the Spurs players!"

As soon as re-appointed boss Harry Redknapp had heard what Wegner had to say he came out with thins "Wegner can say what he wants, me and the team know we have the quality to win the league. I have said to the players not to listen to what other people say and to focus on training and winning games."
Chiriches is class! Wenger eat your words :P

Well, about Chiriches, I have to agree with mister Wenger!

Spurs Through to Europa League Group Stage

http://s1314.photobucket.com/user/silasthebest/media/Tottenham-celebrate-007_zps16066589.jpg.html

Spurs have today qualified for the Europa League group stage after a 6-1 win over 2 games against FC Pasching.

The first leg was played at White Hart Lane and resulted in a 4-1 win for Spurs, Lamela, Soldado, Defoe and a brace from Eriksen gave Tottenham the win. The second leg was played at The Waldstadion Stadium where Spurs picked up a 2-0 victory, Defoe getting both of the goals.

In a post-match press conference after the second leg Redknapp was asked "You have qualified for the Europa League group stage, how easy was it?" Redknapp replied with "It was fairly easy, we all know how crap FC Pasching are, I just said to the players go out there and have some fun, treat it like another training session and eventually you will get the goals."
I agree with mister Redknapp!
