Hi my name is Joao DeMedeiros I start managing Benfica when the coach Jorge Jesus got fired that was in July of 2012. On my first season with Benfica I didn’t buy anyone I just played with I had, I won the Portuguese league , and the Portuguese league cup but I had some downs on my first season losing on the Portuguese cup on the semi –finals what upset me more was losing against Porto on the semi-finals . My team Benfica dominates the game but they end up being the lucky ones and score at 80 minute the 1-0 but its soccer you got to raise your head and keep going. My career on the Champion League was pretty good for the first season I pass the group stage and end up losing on the quarter final against Barcelona I tied the first game at home 3-3 and tied again at away 1-1 so they pass away goals. At the end of the season I end up selling Rodrigo for 36 million to Real Madrid. That’s was the season 2012-2013.
Benfica Season 2013/2014
On my second season in 2013-2014 with Benfica I bought Marcos lopes from Manchester City, Tomas Martinez from River Plate, Marcos lopes cost me 1.5 million and Tomas Martinez cost me 7.5 million’s, and I loan some of my youngers player from Benfica Sub-19 like Bernando silva , Raphael Guzzo, Filipe Nascimento, Ivan Cavaleiro and Helder Costa to Nacional da Madeira. Now let’s start by saying my team was pretty much the same from first season the only player that left was Rodrigo to Real Madrid for 36 million and the two player I had bought Marcos Lopes from M.City and Tomas Martinez from River Plate, my team Benfica did an awesome job in the Portuguese league winning again the title and winning the Portuguese cup against Sporting 4-1 was the score, the Portuguese league Cup against Braga the score was 3-1, the Portuguese Super Cup against Porto the score was 3-2. But most important was my career in the Champion League my stage group was Ac Milan, Dortmund, Olympiakos from Greece pretty strong group , but my team did amazing beating Milan at home 2-1 beating Dortmund away for 3-2 and winning Olympiakos Home for 3-0, than I tied away against Milan 2-2 , won Dortmund at home 3-1 and beating Olympiakos away for 2-0, Benfica pass the stage group, I ended up in the final after beating teams like PSG, Chelsea, Bayer Leverkusen ,M. United and my Champion League Final was against Bayer Munique the whole game was 0-0 and after extra time we went to Penalty shots and I end up beating them 5-4 on the Penalty shots Victory was for Benfica , was amazing season wining everything was hard to believe but I did and I was proud of all my players with all the hard work we did.
Benfica 2014/2015
On the season of 2014-2015 we play against Liverpool for the European Super Cup my team beat them I didn’t bougth anyone I just use my promising players that I loaned last year, on this season 2014/2015 Benfica was Champion of the world clubs league beating Santos in the final for 4-0 another great game from for 3-2 pretty good game either team could win but Benfica won. On this season I sold players like Maxi, sulejmani, insua, pizzi , carlos ascues and andre almeida I made like 60 million with all this transfers , and my team after winning this title , we Benfica were champions again from the Portuguese league , we won the Portuguese league cup , the Portuguese cup and we ended winning the Champions League this year too was a pretty amazing year for me and my team Benfica we were pretty amazing
Benfica season 2015-2016
On the start of this season I sold players like Nico Gaitan 37 , Salvio 25, Garay 28, Fabio 20, Enzo Perez 25, Nelson Oliveira 45, I did bought some player only wasted 35 million on transfers players like Rafael from MU, Javi Garcia MC Diego Costa from Atletico Madrid…. On this season I lost the European super cup to Arsenal 2-1 , but I won Everything in Portugal , and won the World league of clubs again , and the Champions league again beating in the final Real Madrid 5-4 was a crazy game and I had luck score a goal at 90+2 and Benfica won the Champions league was amazing I can’t believe that’s y I love this save what I had did with Benfica was pretty amazing.
