Out of nowhere on the 2nd of July, 2013 Nicola Cortese the Southampton Chairman decided to hold a immediate press conference with the rumor roaming around that there was to be an announcement of a major marquee signing. Instead the media, fans of Southampton Football Club and the whole Premier League World were shocked to find out that in fact Mauricio Pochettino has been sacked. Pochettino had only been at the Southampton helm for a little over 6 months and the decision to part ways with the manager has caught everyone by surprise.
In regards to his decision Cortese had this to say
Cortese:
It is a step in the right direction for the club and we can only look upwards and onwards from here

Asked on who could possibly be better then the little Argentinian, the Southampton Chairman gave little hints away saying
Cortese:
We do not want to be rushed into a decision. Please understand that this was just not a knee jerk decision. We have been scouting a manager for a couple of months now who we believe can take us to Europe and to success domestically in the Premier League.

In a shock decision MR KING JULIAN from the lonely African nation of Madagascar has been today officially named as the new Southampton Manager for the 2013/2014 season.

Southampton Chairman Nicola Cortese said to the press this morning
Cortese:
"They have found there man. Mr Julian we believe as the required attributes to take us to Europe within the next couple of seasons and beyond

Whilst Mr King Julian has gone on to thank the Chairman, the club, the players and most importantly the fans for his full support

Whilst a fans spokesmen Jimmy Bicmac has gone on the attack of King Julian suggesting that he is a bad replacement and that Pochettino should never of been sacked. A quote from that interview follows
BICMAC:
"Speaking on behalf of all supporters, we had full support of Mr Pochettino and his aspirations for the club going forward. We are not entirely convinced by Julian and has lack of experience managing any sort of football team. We know it is a results based business and we as a team on the rise expect to see results in the league quickly
