That's what the newspaper headline read. Good old Marca always know how to create controversy.

My name Sameer Seharai, and I am the new Valencia manager. Many of the fans are not happy with my appointment, I'm young and inexperienced I can't blame them. It's my job to turn this club around and prove myself.

I got the job due to my contacts, my dad know's people in high places........(don't ever ask me about this).

As Marca like to point out I am English but I have been living in Spain my whole life. I have seen Valencia's demise first hand. I beleive I have the know how and spirit to break Barcelona and Real Madrid's dominance on La Liga.

Budget: Valencia's financial situation is well documeneted, I did'nt expect much. I have £845k to spend.

My Aims: When it came to choosing season expectations, I was torn between Europa league qualification and Champions league football. I believe I have the tools at Valencia to get Champions league football at that's what I will be aiming for. But it when came to choosing season expectations I went for the safe option of Europa League qualification.

My Squad:

Goalkeepers

I have two great keepers in Alves and Guaita, it is going to be quite a fight for the number 1 spot in my team. Alves will be my Number 1 for now, but I will be giving Guaita his chance.

Right backs

Pereira will be starting for me. He's abit old for my liking but I still believe he's a great RB who will help both in defence and supporting the attack. Marin will be Pereira's back up. Marin is young with decent potential. I am going to be moving my other righ back Barragan on as I need to lower the club's wage budget.

Left backs

We don't really have a natural left back but do have a number of people that can play the postion: Mathieu, Bernat, Delgado and Guardado. Im am content with this for now, espically with my financial situation. Mathieu has the nod from me.

Centre backs

I have 2 solid centre back in Rami and Ruiz but in my opinion the centre back I have in reserve are abit meh. This inculdes Costa, Mathieu and Delgado. If Rami or Ruiz get injured I could be in trouble.

Midfield

This is a the part of the team that really Excites me, there is massive talent in the midfield with the likes of Canales, Parejo, Romeu (on loan from Chelsea), Feugo, Banega, Molina, Herrero and Portu. This definitely the strongest part of my team the partnership of Canales and Parejo should create my team alot of cahnces, these two will anchored by Romeuto add some stability to preventing the team from going gung ho. Banega should push Canales and Parejo for a starting spot but for now I am happy with the trio of spanish talent in the middle.

Right wing

Feghouli is my main here, this kid has alot of talent and I except big things. I also have Pabon in reserve but he is more of a striker. Looking to get a right wing to help provide back up.

Left wing

Another strong point to my team with the 'littler Messi' Piatti also got Guardado who is a great palyer and Bernat who would provide back up.

Strikers

I have alot of options here with Jonas, Pabon, Postiga and Alcacer. Another fight here espically with me only playing 1 Striker. Jonas get's the initail nod.

Im am going to be playing a 4-3-3 formation.

'He Wants OUT!'

Banega has approached me and asked to leave the club. He feels that he needs to make the next step up in his career.

I informed him that I believe that together the club can grow to a level that is the next step up, but he disagreeded. My efforts to convenience Banega to stay seem to in vain.

For now Banega will be staying, but if an offer was to come I may be convienced to sell as I don't want unhappy players ruining the team spirit and Valencia could do with the cash........
