Tom Maloney today called a press conference to announce his final and biggest signing today. Former Scottish and Rangers Captain, yesterday became Maloney's forth summer signing from Blackpool for 190,000.

'I am very much looking forward to playing for Hapoel' Said Ferguson. 'This club is a european club and one with ambition, they have some very good home grown players and that is why I wanted to come here.'

Tom Maloney cant wait to see his new signing in action. WIll Ferguson prove a hit? The fans think so and have been flooding phone ins to congratulate Maloney on the capture.

Lets see if it makes a difference on the pitch though.
Great buy, be good to have someone with PL experience too
Nick - Yeah I thought that too i am very impressed with myself hahaha

Maloney Has A Solid Start

Tom Maloney's Tel-Aviv side had a good start in the Israeli Premier League this month. After losing hopelessly in the Premier League Toto Cup there was a lot of negativity amoungst fans, but Tom turned it around very quickly. They sent Varder packing 5-3 on agg. to make the Europa League, where they got Spanish Giants Athletico Madrid.

The only Premier League match they lost was against Maccabi Haifa. Maloney was definately happy about the way they turned there dodgy pre season form around. 'I am delighted with the effort my boys have put in this month, they deserve to be fighting for the title. Unfortunatly in the Europa League we came across an unstoppable Falcao who scored two goal in the last 15 minutes, otherwise we would have got a draw.

Wins against Ako, Ramit HaSharon and Bnei Yehuda were followed with a draw again Kryat-Shmona and then a defeat against Maccabi Haifa.

Tel-Aviv are currently lying in 3rd place just 3 points off the leaders and defender Constantin is one of the best performers for Maloney's men.

A pretty good month in Europe is a little harder.
