Being a Forest fan, I decided to do a game as Nottm Forest on FM 14. However I only made an account on this just, so I'm going to go up to where I am with this.
With the starting Forest Squad, I decided to Transfer List any of the players I saw as 'deadwood' or that I didn't intend on using. These were:
Gonzalo Jara - DR 27 Chile
Danny Collins - D(LC) 32 England
Dorus De Vries - GK 32 England
Andy Reid - M(LC) 31 Republic of Ireland
Guy Moussi - DM, M(C) 28 France/Ivory Coast
Khaled Al Rashidi - GK 26 Kuwait
Simon Gillett - M(C), DM 27 England
Dexter Blackstock - S(C) 27 Antigua and Barbuda

Of these, I only successfully managed to offload 2 of these.
Simon Gillett - Millwall for £450k
Dexter Blackstock - Wigan for £1.5M

As a result of this, this gave me some extra money to sign players with, however I decided to launch an attack on the free agents market in my first season, meaning i sky-rocketed my wage budget. So after starting of with £5M in the transfer pot, I only spent £1.08M on transfers itself.

That shows all of my Signings and Loans this season so far, The best of which are...

Jay Bothroyd

Prolific Goalscorer

Gabor Kiraly

Terrific Shot Stopper.

Anyway, as for the start made to my Season. I am currently sat 1st after 12 games. With the best attacking record as well, having scored 29 goals. Here are my results so far.

The losses to Derby and Brighton were disappointing, however new signing Jay Bothroyd has shown his ability, being the leagues top scorer with 10 goals.

Game 13: YEOVIL (Away)
For this game, I decided to send out a weaker squad, however not entirely weakened. Giving starts to Karl Darlow, Danny Collins, Paulo Assuncao, David Bentley, Radoslaw Majewski and Ishmael Miller. Playing my usual 4-5-1, with my Counter attacking and Balanced mentality.

The goals for me came from Majewski (9) and Miller (26), with Jamie Paterson hitting the woodwork in the 81st minute after just coming on as a sub. Considering the squad i packed for the game, that was a satisfying result that keeps me at the top.

Capital One Cup vs Hull. October 29th.
The League Cup's Fourth Round Draw was relatively kind to me, drawing me against Hull. With only Wigan and Crystal Palace proving easier draws.
I went for my Strongest XI for this one (except one):
GK - Kiraly
DL - Rowe
DC - Wilson
DC - Hobbs
DR - Jara
MCR - Cohen
MCL - Lansbury
AMR - Paterson
AML - Abdoun
AMC - Cox
ST - Bothroyd
The game started poorly, with Hull scoring 2 goals inside half an hour through Brady and Gedo. However 2 goals in the space of 9 minutes from Simon Cox (33) and Henri Lansbury (42) brought me to Half-Time honours even. The team did valiantly until a controversial 53rd minute penalty awarded from a risky tackle from Tommy Rowe on Yannick Sagbo was converted via way of the post by Sagbo himself. And my team just didnt quite have the edge to draw level again.
This game served as proof as to how difficult life in the Premier will be for me after Promotion
