What does it mean?

i'm playing fm 14 with some wonderkids edited database i made. First 5 months everything was fine and then this happened, what does it mean, he existed at first but i noticed this in the 2nd transfer window. I can't click on his name or anything.

i havent clicked on the option "retire after current spell at club", he was a free agent and he was 16 years old in the game, but is it possible that he cannot play anymore because the injury "A cold" (shown on the picture) has made him so sick that he can never play football again?

Some players will retire if they don't have a club. Happened to a very well known wonderkid on one of my saves, don't remember who but his contract was up and he couldn't find a new one so retiree.
