Taurul has funded WBA's first official transfers this season. The club has signed Bayern Munchen's creative midfielder Toni Kroos and Juventus's powerful striker Fernando Llorente. Both players have joined WBA for free after they were won by Taurul in a revolutionary competition.
"Kroos has the skill and vision to make his way at both WBA and then on the international scene.I know that in Fernando Llorente’s case there’s little doubt about the quality, and even though he has been moping around for a few months now since refusing to sign a new contract in August, there’s not much of a reason to doubt his attitude and hunger to prove himself. From an outside perspective, a new environment could be exactly what he needs to fulfill his potential and cement his name as one of the best strikers around." said Mircea Lucescu.
WBA Owner Taurul has announced that the club are eyeing up transfers and are in talks with several clubs about more potential arrivals.Mircea Lucescu feels like he is in dreamland having a Chairman who seems to want to dish out the dosh. The Romanian manager has delivered fantastic results for nearly three years now and deserves a Chairman who will back him financially.
