ive been playing cm/fm for almost 7 years now..but this just came to me, is it better to have a specialized pre season training schedule (high intensity fitness + light/medium others) before the season starts and another schedule (light/medium fitness + high intensity others) for when the season actually begins? or is it just fine to have the latter all the way thru?
simple answer, yes.
To be honest pre-season wasn't as relavent as it is in the current fm, as in the latest fm, you have to ease them into pre-season training, or else you suffer at the start of the season.
in real life pre-season training helps players gain physical energy witch can be usefull during the upcoming season.putting youre players to run on sand for a couple of hours per day will make wondres on the pitch for 90 mins in official games.the same is with running on a mountain track covered with snow.the mountain option is my favorite because you can also benefit from the high altitude where the air is not so dense(its much more hard to run 90 mins at 2000 meters high than to run at sea level due to a smaller amount of air entering youre lung in one breath). you have to be carefull because if you make youre players work hard from the start most likely all of them will have muscle injuries.......but than again, what i said is available only in real life; in the game you can simply raise the strength meter up.
