Whats going on?

I find it hard to believe there is spyware bundled with the latest Genie, in fact I downloaded it myself and there was no spyware or programs included.

So are these threads from a bunch of people downloading it from a different link or an infected computer already?

The last thing I want to see is Eugenes work go to waste...

I got it from this very site, on a brand new laptop.

I had it on my desktop but need a laptop for travel.

I highly doubt the brand new laptop has all this malware/spyware that everyone else is talking about already.

I must say though, I love buying a brand new laptop and then getting it infected straight away! Thanks so much!!

So you downloaded the free version and didn't decline the programs it asks to install?

That's common practice nowadays, its a way for companies to make extra money, they aren't malware and spyware, just bloat-ware.

Download anything from softpedia or cnet or anywhere like that and you will see the same, to keep your pc clean, you have to carefully answer the questions.

IF however you decline all the questions and it still installs crap, that's a different matter.
