A New Story!
What team am I?
It has probably been made obvious by the title and the banner, but if you didn't already know, I am managing Turkish team, Trabzonspor.I thought that I would do a different league than I normally do, so I decided to venture into Turkish football. Trabzonspor caught my eye becuase they have former Chelsea players, Flourent Malouda and Jose Bosingwa.
Hopefully, I'll have fun managing a Turkish team and you'll have fun reading a Turkish story.
Who am I?
I will be 33 year-old former Tranmere player, Mike Rotch (fictional).Mike Rotch was born on the 14th April 1980 in Sheffield.
At the age of 14, he was taken in to the Sheffield United youth team as a defensive midfielder. After 5 years in the academy, Rotch was sent on loan to AFC Telford, where he only made 8 appearances all season. After the loan was over, he was transferred to Tranmere Rovers for free at the age of 20.
In his first season, he made 29 first-team appearances, scoring an impressive 15 goals. Interest from other teams grew but Tranmere were determined to keep him, rejecting several bids.
Rotch has another successful couple of seasons until he was clattered in a late challenge which left him with a long-term injury. Once he regained full fitness he never managed to hit form again. He was left to rot in the reserves and retired at 30.
