New Signing(s)

We are pleased to tell that we sign a former Liverpool and Chelsea player to The Saints. The newest signing is Israeli footballer Yossi Benayoun.



Benayoun is not a new player in Premier League. He spent 8 years in here with some big clubs like Liverpool and Chelsea.

Another new signing is a midfielder from Argentina, Franco Zuculini. Zuculini and Benayoun will have their first training with The Saints this week.

He's probably the best free agent player in FM14 and yeah, so far he's doing amazing in the club. He fits the tactic that I use.

Benayoun debuts at The Saints

Southampton F.C. didn't really start the season with a good result. Early goal from Tottenham makes everyone in the club depressed. "That was totally my fault. I should've blocked the ball." told Artur Boruc to Skysports. Many people predicted that The Saints could win that game or at least draw. With 6 unbeated friendly matches before, The Saints should've win the game against Tottenham.



But the media's main focus was Yossi Benayoun's debut with The Saints. May people criticised Jason Dodd's decision on signing Benayoun. But Benayoun can proves that everyone is wrong. Benayoun scored the only goal for The Saints and also his first goal with The Saints.

"That was pretty cool, you know. That was my first match and I scored my first goal in the same time." SkySports interviewed Yossi after the match.
