Genie Scout 2009 Bugs + Workarounds

I had been using FM Scout for the 1st two seasons of my Man City game, but half way into the 3rd season I tried to load it & got a message saying "Unknown Database Version: 1245" - Does anyone know why this is happening?

i have that- try loading a different save game.

Other save files load fine, just this one. I've even tried using the 'save as' function in FM to create a fresh save of my current game but it's still not working. There must be a reason for this?

There seems to be a common pattern here. It seems if the game has gone on for too long the programme can't open it.

My game is now in 2018, I'll check to see if a new save works fine.

stam have you tell eugene about the problem?
I want to search for a new DR and i don't have a lot of time :)

I hope eugene find a solution to this problem.

getting the same errors but with
Error loading entity number 38445
file position: 53015140
Database version 1245
data file seems to be corrupt. wanted to read 4 bytes, could only read 3 bytes

It has been working for 3 days and this morning.
When i went to use it this afternoon it stopped working

Yep, im in 2023 and i get the error... tried to read 4 bytes, got 3. Do you still need the saved game Genie?

im in year 2026 and getting the same database 1245 persons data seems corrupt error.
record type 96.
used the previous version with no problems until 9.30 update.

Yep red devil. Playing as Liverpool and I'm going to keep going until I either get a new stadium or Barca offer me a job :P

The new Genie Scout is good, but the sale value is almost always incorrect which is frustrating if your searching for players available for certain price. Any one else find this?
