new patch full of bugs

Hi all is it just me or has the latest patch ruined the game. I go to create a corner set piece and after i select a player his stats remain on the screen? My scouts tell me Messi wouldn't be a worth while signing.... lol Fix this please roll the patch back!

I've come across a similar scouting problem too, my scouts keep saying that quality players aren't worth signing.
