Hello all, and welcome to a new story here on FMScout. I know, a English Premier League club, not exactly the most original idea. I'm doing this because I've wanted to do a Hull save since I got the game, so why do a Hull story? I hope everybody who reads this story, enjoys!

As you can tell by the name of the story and the banner and the picture shown above, I am using Hull City.

Hull are a team that I quite like. You see, I'm a bit on and off with football. Some seasons I've looked forward to EVERY game, others I just wasn't interested. I say this like I have watched a lot of seasons, I've only seen two thoroughly, and I'm counting this season. The other one was the 2008/09. A season that I watched and enjoyed a lot. Mainly because we (Man Utd) still had Ronaldo and it was such a good competition at the top between us and Liverpool. Anyway, back to Hull. During that season, I really enjoyed watching Hull City play. For a newly promoted team, they were awesome. It was a pity that they only lasted a couple of seasons. I was pretty happy that they got promoted, and so far, they have definitely impressed me this season! Basically I want to stay in the Premier League for as long as possible, and help Hull become a Premier League club.

I am former Manchester United captain and legend, Roy Keane.

Roy Keane may be very aggresive, but he is a born leader with good knowledge of football. Shown by his time as captain at The Red Devils, Keane knows how to lead a team and keep troublemakers in their place. He has managerial experience through spells at Sunderland, Ipswich, and he is the current Assistant Manager of the Ireland National Team.

At 42 years old, Keane is not too young or too old, and has the potential to be a legendary manager.

  • Stay in the Premier League for at least 4 years.
  • Beat one of the top clubs by 4 or more goals.
  • Sign at least 3 former Manchester United players as backroom staff.
  • Win the FA Cup.
  • Win the Capital One Cup.
  • Get a European spot in the league.
  • HULLC!
Sorry about this, I just accidentally posted it before I was ready!
    Good luck man
    Ok guys sorted!

    Alex - ... :P
    Bayern - Thanks mate!

    He's out of order!

Earlier today, Steve Bruce was relieved of his duties as Hull City manager. Reports say that Bruce had a dispute with the Hull chairman, Assem Allam, that got out of hand, resulting in violence between the two.

Allam and Bruce had a difference in opinions while dealing with English defender, James Chester's transfer speculation linking him with moves to Cardiff and Fulham. Allam disagreed with Bruce's decision to transfer list Chester, leading to a debate between the two. The argument eventually got so heated that Bruce decided to throw a football at the chairman and storm out of the KC Stadium.

    Hull fans voiced their discontent;

'I liked Bruce, he's a good manager, but what he did is disgraceful! It doesn't matter how much he annoys with you, he's your boss, the last thing that you do is attack him! Like I said, I liked Bruce, but if he's doing stuff like this, he has to go!'

'What does he think he is doing! He may be a fan favourite, but no-one can go around doing stuff like this! Allam may not be the most likeable person, but just because of a difference in opinions, Steve Bruce has no right to attack him. It's out of order! OUT OF ORDER!'

Surprisingly no-one has been named favourite to take over Hull just yet, the hot seat looks open to a everyone. More on this story as it happens.
Nice write up. Great start to the story.
Bayern - Thanks man! Enjoying your story too :D
Good start and good luck for the story :)
    Pompey - Thanks Pomps!

    Keane In

    Roy Keane

Former Manchester United star, Roy Keane has taken over as the Hull City manager. Hull's chairman, Assem Allam described Keane as the exact type of manager that he wanted to sign.

Roy Keane, who has been unemployed since he was sacked by Ipswich in 2011, expressed his delight in being chosen to manage a Premier League in a press conference with the offical Hull City website, http://www.hullcitytigers.com/.

'It's been a while since I last managed a club and to be totally honest, I feel a bit rusty. But I still feel that I can do a great job for Hull who are a very exciting club. I think that they can become a great power in England with the right man to take them forward. I believe that I am that man.'

Roy Keane is known around the world for being Man United's tough captain who has been the man to lead the club to glory many times. During his 12 years at the club, Keane gained 33 goals in 326 appearances. He was also awarded many individual awards, including; FWA Footballer of the Year, PFA Players' Player of the Year and and a place in the English Hall of Fame.

Hull have opened Keane to the KC Stadium with open arms, it's up to him to stay there.
Nice appointment. He will do well.
Bayern - Only time will tell *taps nose*

    Opinions

I think it was a pretty average pre-season. I think that I should have got a better performance in the Brentford game, but I'm happy that Juventus only beat us by one goal. In terms of transfers, I'm happy with all my signings and I believe that they will do well for us. All I need is a back-up goalkeeper, since I now only have one. There's also some more players that I would like to get rid of.

    Opinions

I am very happy with August. The transfer window is now closed and I may not have been able to move anyone else on to other clubs, I was able to sign a back-up goalkeeper in Fabianski. Even though I got beat by Chelsea, I think we put up a really good fight, and only losing by one goal at Stamford Bridge is really something! Apart from that though, we just won. Good solid wins against West Brom and Sunderland, and a 5-0 thrashing against Northampton in the Capital One Cup, really pleased me. Next month won't be as easy though, as I've drawn Everton in the next round.
