After the summer leaving of Aubameyang, it is interesint to see who will lead les verts to glory this season.

Christophe Galtier was resigned from ASSE manager position. He released a statement saying that due to health reasons he cannot continue at ASSE.

President Bernard Caiazzo did waste any time and appointed former international player Jaque Fernandez as the new head coach.

Today ASSE completed their first signing, striker Abel Hernandez from Palermo for a fee of 4 mil.

Jaqur Fernandez offered his first interview for the french magazine:

Reporter: How do you feel as the new manager of ASSE and what are your future plans for the club?

Jaque: I'm very happy to be here and i hope that i will bring the succes this club deserves. I want to build a solid team that can battle for the title in the next seasons and have succes in Europe.

Reporter: What are your objectives for this season?

Jaque: I decided with the chairman that this season we want to qualify for a continental cup and go as far as possible in Europe.

Reporter: You decided to sign Abel Hernandez, are you planning to use him as your main striker?

Jaque: Abel is a hot prospect for the future and i hope he will grow here. Whoever will score the more goals will be the main striker.

Reporter: Do you want to send a message to the fans?

Jaque: Yes, to support us at every game as i know they can do and be as fantastic as they were last season.
