Throughout my last season as QPR i have on scored one goal from set pieces and despite goals coming from other places, i was wandering whether anybody had a certain settings which was giving good results.
Please state set piece (i.e. corners)
Position
And result ( i.e. goals scored from corners and indirect freekicks in season)
torture ur team after every match they fail to score from a set piece.

after a few times they will be scoring loads.
What is the most effective corner setting on 09? As i remember the old "near post flick on" on fm08 was absolutely lethal! Anyone know of the best setting for 09?
haha nah, just try out things.

throw everything into the box. probably.
I was looking around and found a site with some pretty gd tips
tried them out and scored two goals from corners the next game.
None in next two but well worth a try.

I had Rio Ferdinand And Nemanja Vidic Score 12-15 goals each and my back up Jonny Evans and Sakho score quite a few each too by having corners from both sides aimed at 6 yard box and both Centre Backs challenge Goalkeeper It works All the time for every team i've been, Also make sure you have someone attacking near post for any corners that they dont quite put right in to the 6 yard box.

Try this I gurantee it will work like i say every time i've used it i score a boat load from corners.
yep thats all you need, 6 yard box, all tallest players challenge keeper, flick and a high off the ball and reactions to far post
Yeah. thats it!
6 Yard box
2 Tallest on Keeper
CB who had no goals in half a season got 8 in second half

I have scored 7 goals so far in 26 games from corners from 26 games so far. Most of them scored by Ramage and Hegulson's header.

Please set in your Team instructions Corners to 6 yard box. than go to players instruction to set hegulson to challenge keeper and Ramage to stand on near post.

It has worked for me. Good luck.

i agree...Walter Samuel scored around 30 goals in two seasons for me...i replaced him with Zapata, because he's 33 now...Zapata isn't that good, but he scores 8-10 per season...it's not just the settings, the quality of the players is an important factor as well.
Yeah, Badboy is correct. You need someone wo is brave and has good jumping and heading attributes. Also 6 yard box and tallest guys on keeper also works for me.

But i also have my wingers and attacking midfielder lurk outside area for a poor header out by opposition, they score plenty more from this.
I know peple will prob laught at this but in my everton team i have jagielka challenging keeer n corners and after 12 games he scored 6 goals already. I know all this wont be down to the set pieces but its workin forme at the minute. I will look bac through the reports and check how many were off corners etc.

i do meself as im a blue, but ya will get the odd few people disrespectin him.
and for all those interested in what i said about him, i think he has played 18 league games now and scored 10 goals. doin really well for me.
A good way of defending corners for me seems to be to put a lot of players set to stay forward. This can be 3, 4 or even 5. The opponent always brings back most of defenders leaving no good headers in box
