Captain - Yep, surprising... I know!
Farhan - Thanks, I hope so!
P-Kiddy - Thanks, mate!
K1rups - Seriously, surprisingly they always do really well in my saves. Unless I'm managing them :P

Rooney leaves for club rivals Chelsea

Manchester United star-man, Wayne Rooney has made Chelsea swap.
Englishman, Wayne Rooney travelled to London for his medical yesterday after Manchester United agreed on a deal reported to be worth around £35,000,000.

The 27 year old passed his medical to end his 10 year spell at Old Trafford. He was handed the number 10 shirt, the same number that he used at Manchester United. The striker is scheduled to be announced by Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho later today.

Rooney reportedly turned down contract offers from Real Madrid, Manchester City and Bury, but Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, stated that he made no such offer.

The departure leaves Manchester United with a hole as Robin Van Persie is now the only recognised striker who can score often. Javier Hernandez has also been surrounded by speculation as United manager, David Moyes has received offers from Barcelona and Arsenal.

The transfer has gotten mixed opinions from United supporters all over the country. Some say that it was the wrong move to take, and that Moyes made the wrong decision in selling their star player. Others feel that Rooney was pushing for a move so hard, that he didn't deserve to wear a red shirt any more.

Team-mate and strike partner, Danny Welbeck had this to say;
“He’s been at the club for a long time (Rooney) and we've been quite close friends. It’s been good, I've been given advice from him, and I've taught him a thing or two!” He laughed. “I see where Moyes is coming from with the deal, Wayne really wanted out and it isn't good for anyone if he stays. All in all though, I'm really sad to see him go. He’s been a really good player at the club and won’t be forgotten any time soon!”

It remains to be seen how much transition this deal will cause.
Can't believe Rooney has been sold!
MOYES OUT!!
Nice update by the way TK :)
Pompey - Thanks mate, I thought it would make it a bit more interestering!
Sh!t just got real! Interesting to see Bury after Rooney :P
lovely update! Up the bury great ambition lol

“Jesus Christ!” I thought as I finished writing my letter.

“What in the world are the Glazers thinking, I actually might give up on this club, I’m not even joking. Moyes has turned the Manchester United that I know and love, and ripped it up. He thinks he’s still managing Everton. Seriously, we’re turning into a mid-table club, and what are the chairmen doing about it?! Nothing, nothing at all!”

I got up and walked over to the counter to pick up an envelope and a stamp. I took a quick glance over my letter

“That’s about as friendly as I'm going to get!”
“Honestly, why Moyes, why not Martinez or Pochettino, a young manager that knows how football is played!"

I sealed the letter and took it to the post box down the road. I lived in a small block of flats in Whitefield, Manchester. I hoped that the letter would reach the board and they would actually do something about it. For now though, I guess I was stuck with David Moyes.
No! Rooney was man utd best player!

“Malcolm, come and see this!” Ed Woodward shouted out of his office as he picked up a letter. Glazer walked out of his office and towards the chairmen’s.

“What is it?” He said

“This letter,” Woodward said as held up the letter to Glazer’s face. As he read the letter his face turned red. He shook his head and sighed.

“You do realise how many of these letters we get, don’t you?” Glazer said. “You know what we have to do!”

“No, no, Moyes is the right man, he’s staying!”

“Hey! I am the owner; I make the decisions around here!”

“No, no, no, you’re not getting rid of him!”

“Too late, he’s going, and that’s final!” Glazer shouted as he stormed out of Woodward’s office, towards Moyes’.

He knocked on the door to Moyes’ office. No answer, he knocked again harder.

“ONE SECOND!” Moyes shouted from his office.

“What’s going on in there!” Malcolm yelled. He could here Moyes talking to someone in a hushed tone.

“Yes, OK, yeah, I’ll see you there, bye!”

Malcolm was confused, what the hell was he talking about?!

Moyes set for Bury

Bury FC have confirmed the appointment of David Moyes as their new manager.

The 50 year-old has agreed a one-year contract with The Shakers and will take charge immediately.

Moyes, who is currently managing Manchester United, will be joined at Gigg Lane by his number two, Steve Round, who has also announced his resignation as Assistant Manager at Old Trafford.

“It’s a much bigger challenge than I have taken on before, but it was one that I’m excited about taking on!” The Scotsman said, via Bury’s Twitter Feed, “I am grateful that Bury have allowed me to take over, even after the disaster that I had last season at Manchester United.”

“Some people may have criticised my managerial ability after my time at [Manchester] United. But I hope that I can prove all the doubters wrong and bring success to this club!”

Club chairman, Stewart Day told the club website, “We looked around for a good enough replacement, after the sacking of David Flitcroft, and we believed that due to David’s [Moyes] experience in higher leagues, that he would be the perfect replacement!”

Moyes began his coaching career at Preston North End in 1998, following the resignation of Gary Peters, before moving to Everton, who he managed for 11 years.

During his time at Goodison Park, Moyes won the LMA Manager of the Year award a total of three times. In the 02/03 season, the 04/05 season and the 08/09 season. After bringing some great seasons to the Toffees, David Moyes was brought in as the replacement of Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United.

The Scot has promised the club that they would win the Sky Bet League 2 trophy this season, a target which has been laughed at by some. The big question now is, who will take over Manchester United.
LMAO :)
The way MU are going Bury would be a step up for Moyes... maybe you can turn the tables.
Moyes to Bury hahaha. I sense someone doesn't like Moyes too much :P
