AUGUST REVIEW

A good start for Michael Owen. Two wins and one defeat, show that this team still need some improvements. And during the course of this season, i think this team will become a headache for title contenders. First match against southampton was not difficult but first match for new head coach is very important.

Daniel Sturridge and John Hendreson fires Liverpool to their first win of this season under debutant head coach Michael Owen. Second match against Chelsea was tough one. Liverpool tried everything but in form Eto makes it difficult for Liverpool. Liverpool failed to breach the Chelsea defense and in that frustration Martin Skrtel made a big mistake by tackling Lampard in Liverpool's penalty area. And that mistake cost Liverpool a goal.

Liverpool defeat against Chelsea, put questions on the new head coach. But win in third match against Huddersfield Town made it clear that this team has potential to win and one or two defeat can't down our moral. Raheem Sterling was the man in form during Capital One clash against Huddersfield Town. Scoring twice on that occasion made him man of the match. I think he will play a very crucial role in this season. He is young, he is talented and we have to wait, to see what he can do.
