The Unemployment Challenge

Hey guys and welcome to my new story. For those of you that read my Liverpool story, don't worry this isn't replacing it, this is just a story where I will update you on my Unemployment challenge.

Now, you may be thinking...Why is he taking this challenge? There are already a few of these stories, and it's an old fashioned and boring concept now. Well, as you will see in the title, it says 'with a twist'. The twist is that FIFA have released a global transfer embargo upon every club in the world. So basically, this unemployment challenge is also a youth challenge except I can't sell or buy any players at all.

I have already tried this challenge with Inter Milan and actually...it is pretty fun. So I believe this can go on for a long time.

I uploaded what I believe to be the more major countries in Europe, so that I have more options as to where I end up. Each league has at least two leagues loaded up, and England has all six.

I have also tried to make the challenge as hard as possible, by having my age set to 25 years old, and my experience to Sunday league footballer

Hope you enjoy.
I like the idea, bud, good luck in finding a club as soon as possible!
Good luck :)
Good luck!

The offer

I have only been searching for managerial position for just a few days now, and I have already tried to make my presence known. I have applied for jobs at teams such as, Red Star in the french 'National' division. Salamanca in the 'Spanish Second Division B1' and also Puerta Bonita in the 'Spanish Second Division B2'.

Unfortunately, all of the applications were rejected without batting an eye. However there was one job that caught my eye. Welling, In the Skrill Premier. Now, Welling have just been promoted to the Skrill Premier, and there team is absolutely bare to the bone. They don't even have enough players to fill the starting 11. But nonetheless, they have offered me a contract.

A team called Spartak Nalchik in the 'Russian First division' have also found themselves without a manager. They have a full squad of senior players and u18s (Which I will need to be hugely reliant on) and and there squad is young enough to build into a great force.

What do you guys think I will/Should do? Stay in England, and move to Welling? Or fly across Europe to the brilliant country of Russia, where I will attempt to take Spartak to the top?

Accept? Or reject?
I think Spartak Nalchik is better mate!
Russia!
CHOOSE WELLING!!!!!!
Good idea and good luck :)
I think you should choose Welling!
Well I erm... Pick both, add another manager and do both!
Cheers for the support guys, I will release what happens in the near future...And Brickarms; This is already hard enough, that would just make it stupidly hard :'D
WELLING!!!

The New Job

I thought it best to decline Welling. I couldn't see a future for them, which really meant there'd be no future for me. I didn't believe I could take them anywhere higher than where they already were, so rightly so I did in fact reject their kind offer.

I went straight for the Spartak job, but to my disappointment, the application turned out unsuccessful as another manager had already taken over the vacant role.

I tried so hard to find myself a job. I wanted a role overseas, as I just wanted to experience different cultures and different styles of football. Over the 7 months without a single job interview, I started to believe that no one would want to bother with me...However;
On March the 31st, I applied for a job in Spain. Before I knew it and on the same day they got back to me telling me how they'd love to bring me in for an interview. I grasped at the chance with both hands. Just a few hours later, I was manager of my new team; C.D. Ourense S.A.D.. I couldn't believe my luck.

I also forgot to mention in my first post, that because of the global transfer embargo, the database has bumped up every teams facilities to 'Top facilities'...Almost every team anyway.

We also got our youth intake, and as you can imagine, it was pretty decent...For the league we are in, but our intakes must improve if we want to perform at the highest level.

Fair enough two managers would be hard :P
but good luck with cd thingy!
Nice choice, mate, good luck! :)
