Heskey Retires


Emile Heskey has retired as a footballer from today onwards, many fans of Newcastle Jets are said to be very happy as they say "Heskey was crap and I'm glad he's gone", while others are very sad. Heskey has said that he wants to try his hand in management, who knows what's in store next for the Heskinator!

Oscar Garcia Sacked!

Brighton & Hove Albion Manager Oscar Garcia has been sacked before the season has even begun. Many Brighton fans are said to be unhappy about this. Managers thought by the bookies to replace Oscar Garcia include Roberto Di Matteo, Steve Clark and Andre Villas Boas.
I liked him as a plyer, so I'm going to watch what he'll do as manager.

AVB "I'm not going to Brighton"



Andre Villas Boas has distanced himself from the Brighton job, claiming it's "too poor a team" and "not enough transfer funds". Brighton, having failed also the get Steve Clark and Di Matteo, now have no managers available, Emile Heskey however, may be an option as he has just got his coaching badges.

Heskey Joins Brighton

Brighton & Hove Albion have announced Emile Heskey as their new manager. Chairman Tony Bloom said"At first I was disappointed about not getting my original targets, but when Emile's application came in I knew he was the right man for the job."

Emile Heskey will take charge with immediate effect, hoping to lead the club to promotion this is what he had to say on his new job "Well obviously I'm chuffed to bits about getting my first job in management, I just want to thank Tony for this wonderful opportunity at this amazing club." When asked about transfers Heskey said"they will all probably be free agents".

Heskey had a illustrious career with 7 goals in 63 appearances for England

Brighton Sign Esteban Lopez!


Esteban Lopez had this to say about his transfer"when I first heard Brighton were after me, I though about rejecting it, but when I heard Heskey was interested, I knew Brighton was the right club to choose". Heskey said "I have admired Esteban for a long time, so the chance to sign him was very nice, plus it allows me to build for the future!"

Brighton Sign Three!


Brighton & Hove Albion have completed the signings of Melvyn Codman, Jose Catala and Curtis Short.
Heskey Said "I wanted to strengthen the left flank with Catala and Melvyn and Curtis are great prospects for the future. All of these players were brought in on frees so they represent great deals too!"



Brighton Transfers So Far!

Brighton And Hove Albion have been busy so far in the latest transfer window signing no less than 8 players! But only one was involved a fee,the others were all free!. In terms of outogings the only transfer so far was Adam El-Abd to wolves for a fee of 500K.

Adam El-Abd played for Brighton for 10 years but clearly was not in manager Heskey's plans. Heskey said "I thought it would be best to let Adam go to a club where he can get game time because at this stage in his career it would be best", El-Abd, 29 signed a two year deal with Wolves.
