Manchester United's French full back Patrice Evra has announced that he will leave in the summer to pursue his career abroad, with clubs such as Juventus and Inter Milan interested in his services.

Evra, who is now in his 8th year at the club wants to leave as he feels 'his time is up' at Manchester United with new manager Gary Neville bringing in Brazilian full back Alex Sandro from FC Porto in the summer.

Manchester United have confirmed these rumours on their twitter page saying:

United earn creditable draw in Turin

http://media.zenfs.com/en_GB/Sports/Eurosport/1174006-23223937-640-360.jpg

Manchester United earnt a creditable draw in the round of 16 1st leg against a Juventus side who couldn't break down Manchester United's defence.

The runaway Premier League leaders set up to counter attack Juventus and it almost paid off early in the game when Robin van Persie was sent through on goal but Juventus goalkepper Gianluigi Buffon was able to stop the Dutch forward from scoring his 3rd Champions League goal of the season.

Juventus found themselves unable to breach United's back line, with the biggest chance of the night falling to Carlos Tevez, a former Manchester United and City player, who was one-on-one with Spanish keeper David de Gea who pulled off a remarkable save the keep the game scoreless.

Juventus had most of the possession but they could not turn it into something productive, with many chances from outside the box which were relatively comfortable for David de Gea and the United back line.

Manchester United will be the happier of the two teams as the 2nd leg is at Old Trafford, where Manchester United are unbeaten all season, and look set to progress into the quarter finals unless Juventus can pull off a surprise victory.

Manchester United manager Gary Neville:

"I couldn't have asked for a better performance from my team today. They should be proud of themselves for the amount of good work they did tonight."

"A draw here is massive. It gives us a big chance when we play the 2nd leg at Old Trafford. We need to be very focused as Juventus have the ability to break us down and score, which would mean the away goal for them would be massive."

"Our defence was crucial tonight. Nemanja and Jonny were exceptional and deserved to keep a clean sheet."

Juventus manager Antonio Conte:

"They (United) were very lucky to get a draw here as we were the better team with the better chances which we should have took."

"I believe we can still win at their ground however it will be a very tough match but I know my team can get something there."

"Carlos's missed a great chance for us but I'm sure he will regain confidence and help us in the 2nd leg."

Manchester United to face Tottenham in the Capital One Cup final

Manchester United will face Tottenham Hotspur in the Capital One Cup final at Wembley on Sunday 2nd of March.

In form Manchester United who look set to win yet another league title are to face Tottenham Hotspur who are fighting for a place in next seasons Champions League for the Capital One Cup, which is the first piece of silverware on offer this season.

Manchester United have just one piece of injury news, with Adnan Januzaj looking set to miss the final but could make a quicker recovery and make an appearance.

On the Tottenham front, Roberto Soldado is still out with a damaged cruciate ligament, Brazilian holding midfielder Sandro is still out with a torn hamstring and Moussa Dembele is set to miss the final with a twisted ankle.

Manchester United are the favourites to win the tie however many bookies are expecting a close match and that Tottenham could snatch the game from Manchester United if they get their tactics right.

Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick on the occasion:

"It's going to be a huge game for us and all of us are looking forward to the game. It'll be a tough match but I think me and the lads are capable of winning."

"It's up to the gaffer on whether he wants to pick me or not, but if he does I will give a 110 percent and show him why it was a good choice to pick me."

"The gaffer has done a great job on getting us to the final, now we have to show him that we can win these types of games and get more silverware for the club."
Just read through this mate, great story and good to see you doing well. I'm planning on starting a United save so would you mind sharing your tactics please?

February Report - Gunning the gunners down

http://resources0.news.com.au/images/2013/11/11/1226756/994376-britain-soccer-premier-league.jpg

Another huge month with two games against Arsenal, with a possible third if there is a replay in the FA Cup. We also have a big game against Juventus at Turin, and a hell of a lot of BPL games, hooray.

Great win to start off this month. West Brom were struggling to handle Wayne and he got Pjanic a goal with a great pass for Pjanic to tap in. Wayne finally got on the score sheet with a calm 15 yard finish into the top corner. Antonio Valencia got final goal to round off a great performance.

HUGE RESULT. We've knocked out Chelsea in the FA Cup which gives us a greater chance of winning it! Shinji and Nemanja put us 2-0 up but Willian got them back into it with 2 great goals. It went to injury time and Wayne Rooney struck a beautiful 20 yard shot into the top corner to win us the game!

The Saints gave us a game but our class showed through and again Shinji Kagawa got us that vital goal to win us a very tough game at Saint Mary's.

We always struggle at Newcastle and yet again we proved that, however we were lucky and won the game by a two goal cushion! de Gea scored and own goal straight away but we showed character and got back into the game as Luuk de Jong scored to make it 2-0 Newcastle, however Ryan and Wayne got it back to 2-2. Then our Spanish wonderkid Jese scored two HUGE goals to gave us a great victory against the Toon. As Kammy would say "Unbelievable!"

Darren Fletcher returned from his illness to start against a skillful Arsenal side, and he got us a valuable replay at Old Trafford. It was a boring game however Jack Wilshere got the breakthrough to make it 1-0 Arsenal, but then a moment of magic from Darren Fletcher as he smashed the ball into the top corner to get a replay at home!

HUGE RESULT! We didn't concede a goal and played very well to earn a great draw for the highly anticipated 2nd leg at Old Trafford! Should be very interesting!

]

Great win to give us huge confidence to play Arsenal again 3 days later in the FA Cup. Michael and Juan produce the goods to give us 3 big points coming into the business end of the season! Magnificent!

And there you have it! The gunners are gunned down! We've played them 3 times this month and we have won two and drawn one! Juan Mata got yet another goal as we knock Arsenal out of the FA Cup and look set to go further in the cup with Aston Villa in the 6th round!

League Table

We're doing so well in the league! 14 points clear going into March! Couldn't have asked for better!

Player of the Month

Wayne Rooney

Wayne has been great this month, scoring important goals and making those assists! He is a Manchester United great and deserves this award!

Road to Wembley

What an occasion today is for everyone at Manchester United. The first trophy on offer this season and we are privileged to be one of the teams playing at Wembley.

We've been on a great cup run this year and the fans deserve the trophy as they have supported the team throughout this competition, especially the semi final against Newcastle when we struggled to play against them.

Robin, Wayne and Danny have been looking around Wembley earlier today to familiarise themselves with the surroundings. The rest of the lads have been trying to prepare themselves for the final, however I know there are some nerves around the team, so hopefully the more experienced players can help them through the game.

Regarding my team news, I had to bring in some experience and pace into the team, but I also needed a very good back four so we stay solid throughout.
Robin and Wayne will be starting up top, they have been great together this season and they could be the players who can win this game for us.

Shinji and Juan will be starting as well at the expense of Nani and Valencia as they have been in great form in the league and hopefully they can have a great game here as well. They are both very creative and can find Robin and Wayne up top.

Maurouane and Michael are going to be the holding midfielders today. I left out Giggsy as he isn't fully fit and Miralem has a little injury so he is on the bench. Maurouane will be tasked to win the ball back in midfield and find either Shinji or Juan so they can feed our strikers.
Michael will be sitting in front of our back four to keep them secure from the oppositions attacking players.

My back four consists of experience, strength, pace and aerial ability. Nemanja will be alongside Jonny as my centre halves. Alex and Rafael will be my full backs. They have improved defensively this season and have been great going forward too.

Hopefully the team is the correct one as Tottenham will give it their all. It is almost time to get to the stadium now so hopefully we'll win the trophy today and bring it back to Manchester where it belongs.

- Gary Neville.

BS - New manager. New team. New style. Can Gary Neville win his first trophy as a manager in charge of Manchester United? Or will Spurs win their first trophy since 2008?

Alongside me today is current Leicester City striker Kevin Phillips. Former Arsenal and Manchester City player Niall Quinn and Former Liverpool and Tottenham player Jamie Redknapp.

So, Kevin, who do you think will edge this one?

KP - For me I'd have to go with Manchester United. They've been in great form and look more likely to win every game they play. I think if they start Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie they'll win this one for sure.

NQ - I agree with Kevin, Spurs will try their best but with Manchester United's form you'd have to make them favourites. Gary Neville has done a great job at Manchester United bearing in mind it's his first time as a manager.

BS - Jamie, who do you see as the 'key player' for either team?

JR - Well for Tottenham, you'd have to say Paulinho, he's been in good form this season and does some really good work in midfield for Tottenham.

As for United, I'd have to say Robin van Persie. He's on fire this season with his goals and Tottenham will have to work extremely hard to stop him as he is a lethal finisher.

BS - And we have teams here!

BS - And now we can join our commentator Martin Tyler.
Just read through this, amazing!! U have made me start a Man United save now :P
