FC Bayern's Mario Mandžuki? has been in the news a lot lately due to the upcoming free transfer of Robert Lewandowski. Many German media sources believe that Mario will be leaving the club at the end of the season due a possibility of less playing time. Well it looks like Mario wants to stay.
Since taking over from Pep Guardiola last month Mehmet Scholl has already made an impact. He has been able to get the best out of Mandžuki? in such a short time. In the five matches since Scholl's takeover Manzu has scored a total of 9 goals in this short span of time. During Bayern's draw against Stuttgart he (Mario) scored four goals.
Will Mario keep this hot streak going? Time will tell. Is Mario trying to prove some sort of point? I think so and he is doing a damn good job about it. Many clubs have been looking in to purchasing him during the Summer. The strongest rumor is Manchester United who earlier last month tried to buy midfielder Tony Kroos.
FC Bayern are now five points behind leaders Dortmund and will be taking on Leverkusen this upcoming Tuesday in Pokal action. The match will be played on ESPN 3.
