So basically, Derby County were Premier League title contenders in the 1970's, and now they are a mid table sky bet championship team, so my aim is to get them back to those days. PS: Im not very good at the game so dont hate, thanks and i hope you enjoy this save. I will be updating this save every few in game months or when i feel its needed, and i will do so as much as possible. Hope you enjoy :)!!
I tried Derby no so long ago, I found it very hard but I hope you can take them to glory!
BREAKING NEWS:
Steve Mclaren has been sacked from Derby County with immediate effect. But strangely Alex Wise, a young man from Newcastle was appointed manager only 20 minutes later, I think fans could question this decision by the chairman Andy Appleby, lets see how the Gordie does before anyone starts criticizing him i'd say!
Good luck at Derby, pal! We won't be very though with you, stay calm, everyone from here started from the bottom. Hope you'll bring Derby back to '70s glory!

Can't wait to see what's new at Pride.
DERBY TRANSFER NEWS:

TRANSFERS IN:

Alex Wise has done okay in this transfer window making four signings and selling only one player. His first signing was a loan signing which brought Newcastles young midfielder Gael Bigirimana. Derby are only paying 2,900 pounds of his 5,750 per week wage bill for his three month loan spell at the club. Alex stated in his unveiling of this signing that he is a fan of Bigirimana as he is a Toon Army fan himself. There will be an option to extend this loan deal after the three months have ended but that will only happen when or if Bigirimana does well at the club Wise told sky sports reporters.

Wise's next signing was the 54,000 pound deal bringing Marco Di Vaio to the club, he stated that Marco is 'old but gold'. However, Di Vaio is only on a one year contract but he is a quality striker, everyone has faith in him grabbing lots of goals in his short spell at this club.

The next signing Wise made was another veteran striker by the name of Ivan Klasnic, A deadly Finisher who also is a world class headerer of the ball. Klasnic is another of Wise's four signings who only has a one year contract, Maybe Wise has done it on purpose and has a plan but we won't know until the end of the season i suppose.

The last signing of the Pre-season signings for Derby was only obviosly for the future. As it was and 18 year old winger with a bit of good potential, but you never know, Estaban Lopez could make a small difference this season if Wise risks him with first team football.

TRANSFERS OUT:

The only player that Wise let go from his new team was Ben Davies who left the club for a whopping 0 pounds, he stated that the club needed to free up some wages. So Wise thought MK Dons would be the perfect place for Ben to continue his career and do well, Wise and Davies had a chat according to Alex , and he told us that they agreed that it was the right thing for everyone and that they will always have great respect for eachother.
fantastic signings in klasnic and di vaio should win the league by ease. if a club comes in for will hughes will you accept or reject?
