DIEGO SIMEONE DEPARTS

Today,We have recieved confirmation that now ex Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone has left the club to join Juventus after their manager retires from football after suffering a heart attack side of the pitch,doctors say he is well.

Simeone has told told the media that he and the board have left on good terms.Simeone has also said that he has left suitable replacements to the board, the list consists of cadidates Simeone believes can continue the success he has brought to the club.

Marca beleive one of these candidates is the young scottish Atletico under 19s manager Matthew Hamilton. Marca believe he could be a candidate because he has shown that he can play a similar style to simeone at the under 19s level.

Hamitlon has also been linked with several other managerial positions within spain such as elche and osasuna,But if Hamilton is Hired it will be a huge opportunity to prove what he has got on the big stage.

Other candidates such as Guus Hiddenk and Rafael Benitez, But we believe that Hamilton is the favourite as Atletico are unlikely going to want to pay the compensation for the signature of benitez or the high wages of Hiddink.

A: Honestly its not the best but im not worried, i have one of the best teams in Europe in my Opinion.

Q:How do you see yourself against the big clubs like Barcelona and Real Madrid?
A:I personally believe we have it in us to beat them and although that may seem controversial, i think we can stop them from dominating the league and also stop them from making all the headlines, Its Atletico time succeed.

Q:where do you see yourself at the end of the season?
A:hopefully lifting the league trophy and celebrating with the team and the fans.

Q:Will you use your knowledge of the clubs youth system to bring players into the 1st team?
A:Of course why would i let knowledge like that go to waste?

Chelsea want koke

The Atletico star has been a hot topic of this transfer window with the likes of chelsea, man utd and man city all rumoured to be interested.

But only today chelsea made a bid believed to be in the region of £10,000,000 was rejected by the spanish side. The club say that they rejected the offer as it does not match their evaluation of the youngster.

Atletico say they will accept a bid of 18 Million and they have put this price tag on the player as they hope it will deter clubs away from the player but if football continues to be as crazy as it has been in the past on the subject of transfers, well i think we could see a club matching the price tag set upon him.

Koke had little to say on the matter other than this; "im flattered to have such great clubs looking at me, but its Atleticos decision and im happy either playing here or anywhere else, i just want to play football"

Miranda has been given this as we kept clean sheets through every game and he also performed many goal stopping blocks and tackles.Not only did he do that he also set up one or two withlong balls over the top.

ATLETICO REJECT FILIPE BID

Today on deadline day we have recieved news that tottenham have had several bids believed to be in the region of 8-10 million pounds rejected.

The left back has been on hot form in the la liga and it is understandable why he is a target of many clubs.Atletico manager has spoken to the media on the subject and has told us "Filipe is going no where, he is a senior figure in the team and is a very important part of my team."

Atletico have been a very quiet club during this window, selling no one or buying anyone.Altough sources at the club have told us that they have agreed terms with young centre back Doria from Botafogo in the Brazilian league.

Botafogo star signs for Atletico

Doria the 18 year old centre back becomes Hamiltons first and probably last signing in the window. It is believed he made the signing in the dying hours of the window and was extremely happy to have acquired the services of Doria, Hamilton spoke to the media on the way out of his training complex and said "Doria is a very good talent and im very pleased to have him at the club, for a second i thought the deal would not go through but thankfully in the end it did and now im ready to concentrate on the leage and hopefully win games!"

The promising star has reportedly signed for the club for a whopping 11million Pounds and the star admits there is pressure on his shoulders after having such a high price tag.

The youngster who has made 53 appearances for his previous club will be looking to have a say in the starting lineup and he will surely be trying to test godin and miranda for the 1st team positions.

Getting into the team will be key for Dorias international career as he will have to be playing first team footballi he is to have any chance of getting into the Brazil squad for the world cup in 2014.

Atletico have signed a youngster with great ability and a good footballing mind.His best attributes are his Determination, pace and strength all very good factors for a centre back.These will make him very effective against some of the big teams like real madrid who have players such as ronaldo with blistering pace.
