hopefully this is in the right area to post, if not i appologize.
anyways, i bought vdv in the jan 09 transfer window for my team (City). hes been outstanding....when he is not hurt. its annoying, out of 21 games since i bought him hes been healthy only 10 games. in those ten games hes scored 6 times. outstanding imo. any one have any idea how to keep him healthy? or is it something i just have to deal with?
I signed him and he scores shed-loads. He's never really had problems with injuries for me. Whats you'r training schedule like and what type of injuries does he usually get.
training was set to the second level of medium... i guess thats what its called. i pushed it back to light, maybe that will help. none of his injuries have been in training really. they're always in a game. he missed two months with a twisted ankle, missed two weeks with a damaged elbow, and his most recent one he is out another two weeks with a bruised rib. i dunno whats going on.
maybe your just gay
??? behave please.
how very adult of you. thanks for your imput.
Does he often get injuries in his first couple of games back after an injury? if so after he does come back don't play him for 7-10 days and then ease him in slowly like giving him the last 20 mins in a game then a half and then a full game with at least 4/5 days between games for him to recover.
Also when selecting your team don't put him in the starting 11 if his condition is in the low nineties or below and especially if he's tired and if he is tired you might want to leave him out altogether. Apart from that keep an eye on his condition during games sub him when he gets into the low 70s unless of course you absolutely need him and if during a game he gets a knock or injury even if he doesn't get a green cross next to his name you might wanna sub him because any subsequent knocks or injuries could be serious.
