First Instalment
The final game in February is the much-hyped AC Milan vs Chelsea at the San Siro. We are coming to you live from the stadium and have already spoken to both managers. Both are very defiant and feel they are the better team. Shah believes that now is his time to prove to Mourinho that he is more than a lucky manager and José is looking forward to putting Shah in his place.
The team news is as follows:
AC Milan are missing Sandro but look extremely strong in midfield and should come through victorious. Chelsea have Hazard, Oscar and Willian who could be instrumental if given the space. We will hand over to match commentators Andy Gray and Richard Keys and will see you after the game.
Wow what a game that was! Milan had Chelsea on the ropes despite going behind very early on through the Frank Lampard penalty. But Chelsea have the away goal and just need a 1-0 home win. Lets see what the managers have to say at the end of that game.
Krupesh Shah – “I’m fairly pleased with the win but we could have won by more. We were attacking them from all angles and they were lucky to get the away goal. The referee made a questionable call but I’m not too worried. We can score at Chelsea with the attack we have and we only limited them to 2 shots on target. With a better performance away from home we will come through the tie no problems. I heard José’s comments before the game and frankly I’ve realised he’s a bitter man who is slipping. He’ll get fired from Chelsea one day but it’s Mourinho and his reputation will get him another top club job. Whether he should or shouldn’t is debatable but I really think his time will end soon”
José Mourinho – “We came here to try and snatch a win and ultimately Perrin was too good for us. You can see the rest of their team weren’t playing well and it took two moments of brilliance. We are a better squad and we play together as a team. He has a bunch of individuals and it will stay that way. I heard his pre-match comments and it is clear Krupesh has no class. The teams he has managed will suffer when he leaves because he buys players for astronomical prices. He handles himself in a very egotistical manner and as a manager he will suffer. We will go back to London and prepare for the 2nd leg. I’m confident we can come through it with a win and dump them out.”
It seems like these two managers are really on the war path and with the 2nd leg still to come it will be amazing if we don’t hear more from either of them.
