A NEW CLUB. A NEW COACH

INTRODUCTION

http://cdn.geekwire.com/wp-content/uploads/Steam1.jpg

Valve, who are the owners of Steam, decided to buy a football club and name them Steam FC. Valve, who seem to have an abundance of money, are going to give the team a transfer budget of 800 million pounds! Not only that but the club Steam FC is going to start in the Barclays Premiere Leaague off of the bat. Now that all that information is known, there is one question left in the mind of everyone : Who is going to be the head coach?

Sandro Castillo. The name of the new head coach is Sandro Castillo. The American-born Sandro Castillo first got noticed when he was 17. He left his hometown of Miami, Florida to play for Benfica who quickly noticed his talents. As years passed, Sandro only got better and better and he became one of Benfica's rising stars. By the age of 21, Sandro already led Benfica to wins against many big teams such as Chelsea, Barcelona, and many other clubs. That same year, Sandro got selected by Team Portugal as he felt Portugal was his new home. While playing internationally, Sandro took Portugal to the quarterfinals of the World Cup at 23 but that's where the story takes a turn for the worst. While in the quarterfinals, he went up to head the ball for a goal but as he landed, his leg snapped into two pieces. Doctors said that he could return 9 months later but Sandro was too paranoid and didn't want to break it again so he retired at the age of 24.

Sandro's career on the pitch might've been short lived but he is ready to make his comeback as a coach. It's been 4 years since his tragic accident meaning he is only 27 but he feels he could become a good coach as time goes on and he also feels that Valve made a good choice when selecting him as the new head coach of the brand new club Steam FC. With so much money available to Sandro, his plan is to buy young, high-profiled players to basically have a team full of wonderkids. The board loves his idea and expect him to get the best players for their team.

INFO ON STEAM FC

OFF TOPIC : This is my first ever story and I'm hoping it will be a good one. I'm very new to this stuff so sorry if I'm not the best at it but I will only try to get better and better. Wish me luck!
Nice start! That's a pretty big ground you got there ;)
Nice start and I will be following

THE STARTING TEAM

As of now, Steam FC is full of 17 to 18 year olds that are mostly from England and don't have much experience playing football. Anyone who watches the BPL knows that these guys won't cut it if Steam FC actually wants a chance of doing something in the league. With a transfer budget of 800 million, Sandro Castillo is definitely not wasting any time in bringing new talent as BPL is set to begin in 6 weeks. Not only that, but Sandro is going to have a tough challenge as he will not only have to buy players, but he will also have to buy coaches. It seems Sandro Castillo has a lot of issues to deal with but he claims he is ready.

It's hard to guess what Sandro's next move will be.

I probably wouldn't have noticed the ground if Louis hadn't pointed it out! Lol, that is HUGE! Good luck as well mate, this story could gauge my decision on whether to try this save or not! will follow;)
interesting story. I will definitely follow

ONE WEEK, MANY SIGNINGS

The new head coach for Steam FC, who arrived a week ago, already has sent shock waves throughout the BPL and is sending a clear message that he wants his team to be title contenders. Sandro has done many things throughout the week such as set new tactics, buy new coaches, and buy new players. The signing of the week has to be Robert Lewandowski, who was bought by Steam FC and has been predicted by Sky Sports to be one of the best strikers in the world. The full transfer list is shown below :

JACK WILSHERE TO STEAM FC FROM ARSENAL ($54,000,000)
WOJCIECH SZCZESNY TO STEAM FC FROM ARSENAL ($51,000,000)
SANDRO TO STEAM FC FROM TOTTENHAM ($45,500,500)
DAVID LUIZ TO STEAM FC FROM CHELSEA ($36,000,000)
ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI TO STEAM FC FROM DORTMUND ($33,000,000)
JORDI ALBA TO STEAM FC FROM BARCELONA ($27,000,000)
SEAMUS COLEMAN TO STEAM FC FROM EVERTON ($16,500,000)
JORDAN HENDERSON TO STEAM FC FROM EVERTON ($11,000,000)

In a recent interview, Sandro Castillo claims that this is only the start and there are still many players that are considered 'transfer targets'. Sandro Castilo was able to reach an agreement for Messi but the Argentinian striker was not interested in playing for Steam FC. Sandro believes that Messi is making a big mistake not playing for Steam FC but understands why he doesn't want to.
Good Start mate; will be following this as I decide whether I want to try my own save of it
Fantastic idea, will definitely follow this story. Good luck mate!

AN END OF THE MONTH UPDATE FOR STEAM FC

It's the end of July and Sandro has already brought in plenty of fresh, young talent for his team. The board and the fans of Steam FC are happy to see all of these high-profiled faces playing for their team. Sandro is only three matches from the start of the premiere league and he has already played four matches with Steam FC. For the first two, he was still playing with the inexperienced players that were already part of the team so he lost the first two. He then proceeded to tie the next game and win the one after that. Jordi Alba has been the star throughout these pre-season matches. Sandro has brought in more signings and the list of the new 'signees' are down below.

RAPHAEL VARANE TO STEAM FC FROM REAL MADRID ($60,000,000)
CARLOS VELA TO STEAM FC FROM REAL SOCIEDAD ($35,500,000)
XHERDAN SHAQIRI TO STEAM FC FROM FC BAYERN ($29,500,000)
MAPOU YANGA-MBIWA TO STEAM FC FROM NEWCASTLE ($24,500,000)
JOHN RUDDY TO STEAM FC FROM NORWICH ($12,250,000)
SEBASTIAN LARSSON TO STEAM FC FROM SUNDERLAND ($4,700,000)

Steam FC has been playing with a 4-4-2 formation as of late and it seems to be a great formation for the team but the only problem is that they need to familiarize it before heading into the BPL. In a recent interview, Sandro Castillo told everyone that he was not done signing players yet even though the team he has at the moment is a good-looking team. Now the question on everyone's mind is : Who is Sandro signing next?

CAPITAL ONE CUP DRAW

The draw for the second round of the Capital Cup has just happened. Steam FC got put together with Sunderland who is a BPL team like Steam FC. Both teams never won the League Cup but Steam FC really wants to win this year even though it's their first year.

FIRST MATCH OF THE SEASON FOR STEAM FC

Sandro Castillo is finally going to be able to make his debut as the head coach of Steam FC but it's going to be a tough one as he will have to face Manchester City who are predicted to be title contenders. Sandro Castillo has confidence that his team will be able to pull out with a win but it will be tough. Bad news for Sandro as new signees Carlos Vela and Alexis Sanchez are out for the upcoming match due to injury. Sandro believes that they will do just fine without them.

Sandro Castillo was not happy about the result of the match but he found some positives as he watched and he'll make sure to make some changes for the next match. Man City were seen as the favorites to win the match so it wasn't too surprising that Steam FC didn't win but the fans of Steam FC aren't pleased as they felt they should've won or at least come out with a draw.

ARSENAL VS STEAM FC

After suffering a 2-0 defeat to Man City, Sandro wants to make sure that his team comes out with the win but it's going to be tough as he has to face Arsenal. Sandro Castillo was not happy with how his team played but tried to stay optimistic throughout the press conference.

SUNDERLAND VS STEAM FC (CAPITAL ONE CUP)

The morale is low throughout the team and Steam FC desperately needs a win against Sunderland. None of Steam FC's strikers have shown any sign of talent as they fail to score everytime they are in front of the net. Sandro Castillo feels that this will be the perfect time to win as it will advance them forward in the Capital One Cup. Sandro Castillo's new signee Carlos Vela couldn't do anything last game but Sandro is ready to give him a chance.

Sandro Castillo was happy to be able to get his first official win as a head coach and his hoping for many more.

CAPITAL ONE CUP RESULTS

MINI UPDATE ON STEAM FC

Since the win against Sunderland in the Capital One Cup, Steam FC have been up and down a rollercoaster as they had played 5 more matches. Steam FC was able to win three out of the last five matches but they weren't able to advance in the Capital One Cup after losing to Stoke in penalties. Steam FC were seen as title contenders so it's very sad to see them leave in the third round.

Steam FC were being considered title contenders at the beginning of the season but with the games they have played this season, they are now being considered a mid-table team. After the Everton game, Sandro Castillo had to meet with the board room and talk about their current situation. Word around the BPL is that if Steam FC doesn't win against their next opponents Liverpool, Sandro would be relieved of his duties. In a recent interview, Sandro said he was gonna do everything to beat Liverpool.

Sandro Castillo was very satisfied with the way his team played and knew that his team had it in them to come out with an overdue win. Backup GK was injured in training and he's going to be out for 2 to 3 months because of a broken ankle. He's not happy because that means he's not playing for Poland.
