Shock move by Kansas !
MLS side Sporting Kansas City have made a shcok mid season decision by sacking Peter Vermes and replacing the vacant post with ex Barcalona legend Lillian Thuram. The new boss is said to be eager to re-join the sport which he left in 2008 holding the record for the most capped French player. He played at the top flight in France, Italy and Spain for over 15 seasons, including ten in the Serie A with both Parma and Juventus. With France, Thuram won the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000. Kansas feel the time was right as they are currently siting 4th in the Eastern Conference and are looking to finish top 3.
