Maybe... do you get an error message when you load the game? is your game on a rolling save? and have you tried reinstalling fm?
ive uninstalled it and re-installed it and it still aint working 
Then the file is probably corrupt and will never be able to use it again. I've had it too and it sucks like hell.:(
