Team Rating and Potential Rating

I've been using FM Genie Scout for a long time, and understand how player ratings and potential player ratings work, but I don't know what team rating is based on. Obviously players are going to play some part in it, but what else?

Winning the league and what position you finish. Winning a cup or how far you progress through it. Beating Big teams and Like you said players you have and the financial status play a part aswel. Hope this answers the question mate
