MacAssistant RT loading issue with FM2014 on Steam/Mac

I have been playing with the MacAssistant for the last couple of weeks with no problem, but today for no reason when I try to open it with my game as I always do, it says this:

MacAssistant RT found a running FM process, but its version is not yet supported. Please make sure you are running the latest version of MacAssistant RT and Football Manager

I have the latest version of both as far as I know, i am playing via steam, but like I said before, I have been doing all this for weeks, but today it just says this for the first time. I have tried deleting the macassistant and reinstalling and opening, but this then said that i couldn't open the file as it was from an unknown developer, but i got around this by opening in a different way (this was a new hurdle today as well, as it had never happened before). but now it is open, I just get this message and can't get around it. anyone any thoughts??

FM got updated yesterday for the January patch so all you have to do is wait for the release of the new update for MacAssistant RT to be able to use it again. Shouldn't take more than a week or two for it to be released

I wasn't aware that it auto updated... does it? I didn't ask to update it, or confirm that i wanted to, but that would make sense. So I will have to wait for the new macassistant to be there and re download it and install it, or will there be a patch for that as well?

If you have Steam online, the game will auto-update. For MacAssistant RT, you will have to manually download once it has been updated.
