Hello everybody. After a very long hiatus due to personal reasons, I have returned to the site for my newest story all about Luton Town F.C, a club that is really close to me in terms of where I live.

Luton has been recognised in many months as they have been ahead of the competition in the Conference Premier League and look set to get promoted to League 2. Whilst not my favourite team, they are very strong on form at the moment.

Luton Town F.C's history

Luton Town Football Club is an English football club based since 1905 at Kenilworth Road, Luton, Bedfordshire. Affiliated to the Bedfordshire County Football Association, it was founded in 1885, and is nicknamed "the Hatters". Its history includes major trophy wins, several financial crises, numerous promotions and relegations, and some spells of sustained success. The club was perhaps most prominent between 1982 and 1992, when it was a member of English football's top division, at that time the First Division; the team won its first major honour, the Football League Cup, in 1988. During the 2013–14 season, the team is contesting English football's fifth tier, the Conference Premier.
Hello and welcome back mate! Looking forward to hear some news! Good luck!

Returning to the game

Here I was, standing next to Kenilworth Road, a stadium that I never expected to approach in my wildest dreams. I'd been to the Premier League stadiums and to Wembley and they were way better than this place. Walking to the entrance, I saw John Still with Nick Owen who I had to research before accepting to see them. With a smile, I approached the two and shook their hands.

"Welcome. I hope you enjoy your stay here. The Hatters are going wild with your employment and we hope you live up to our expectations." Nick said and I smiled.

John cleared his throat and opened the door where we all walked in.

"I'll start with the players introductions then we'll meet the staff." John said and I nodded. I didn't want John to be unemployed so I asked if he could still work alongside me and he became my assistant manager.

"Welcome to Kenilworth Road." Nick and John said and it suddenly hit me; I was at a worst job than before.

Cheers mate, I appreciate it.

I haven't enclosed the manager's name as I want it to be a surprise but it will be a manager who's used to big name clubs.
Good start mate, will be nice to see what you can do with Luton:)

Jamie Redknapp takes over Luton Town F.C managerial role?

Former Liverpool and Spurs player Jamie Redknapp is reportedly been announced as the manager of Luton Town, a decision made by former manager John Still and Nick Owen. Whilst Jamie or his representatives declined to talk to BBC Sport, we did get a source to dish the gossip.

"Jamie took the job straight away because he wanted to become a manager of a team and Luton was the only club that offered him one. He isn't too pleased about it being Luton but he knows that they are very strong on form so in a few years time, they could be in the Premier League according to him."

However his wife had a different tale.

"It's funny how Jamie is meant to have become the manager of Luton when I saw him earlier and he hasn't mentioned this at all. Jamie would never become a manager like his father; it's too much pressure and it's very demanding. Of course if he wanted to, I'd be very happy," Louise Redknapp revealed to us.

We will have more news on this tomorrow.
NO! Why Jamie Redknapp? X-(
