Darren Edmondson To Sue Workington
After the shock dismissal of Darren Edmondson, he has told local reports of Workington Evening Post that he is taking Workington AFC to court over his dismissal. He told reports that the Chairman of the club, Humphrey Dobie, was happy to keep Darren in charge till the end of his contract. Darren's contract was until the 2019 season, but after 2 months of his knew contract, Humphrey sacked Darren by text message with no valid reason.
After six successful years at Workington, Darren has told us at Sky Sports that he is planning on retiring from Football management as there are too many negatives than positives. He also added that anybody who is wanting to go into football management they have some guts and bravery.
