GAMEWEEK 4
The first game of gameweek 4 was at Villa Park, where Aston Villa hosted Sunderland. Gabriel Agbonlahor opened the scoring in just the third minute to put Aston Villa ahead, before getting his second goal 15 minutes later to double Villa's lead. However, Sunderland came back fighting with a goal from Santiago Vergini late in the first half. In the second half, Ron Vlaar sealed the win for Villa by making the score 3-1.
The second game was between Crystal Palace and Liverpool at Selhurst Park. Through most of the game, both sides were evenly matched and the scoreline seemed to be destined for 0-0. However, in the 84th minute, Jordan Henderson won the game for Liverpool, making the final score 1-0.
The third game was at Goodison Park, where Everton were the hosts to Arsenal. Arsenal, who were in good form, took the lead through Mikel Arteta early on in the game. Then, just before half time, Robert Lewandowski of Everton equalised to make the final score 1-1.
The fourth game was between Fulham and West Ham United, two struggling teams in the league. In the first half, all was quiet, and both sides were evenly matched. It was in the second half where things got interesting. West Ham took the lead through Aleksandar Mitrovic midway through the second half, and looked destined to get their first win of the season. However, Kostas Mitroglou of Fulham wouldn't let that happen - as he scored the final goal of the game 6 minutes later to make the score 1-1.
Swansea City had to travel to The Circle this week to face a struggling Hull City side who really shouldn't be struggling. Halfway through the first half, Michu got Swansea's first goal, giving them the lead. This was followed by Roland Lamah grabbing the second goal through a penalty in that fatal 88th minute. The final score was 2-0 to the visiting Swans.
The next game was between fierce Premier League rivals Manchester United and Chelsea - the former hosting this tight match. The scoring was opened by Marouane Fellaini late in the first half, and was finished by Juan Mata of Manchester United eleven minutes later. The final score of that fixture was 2-0.
Newcastle United played host to Manchester City this week, a fight between the top two teams in the league. Edinson Cavani of the Citizens opened the scoring 16 minutes into the game. Yoan Gouffran levelled the scoring in the 31st minute, but Manchester City were quick to respond through Alvaro Negredo 5 minutes later. Cavani got his second goal of the match to make the final score 3-1.
The next game was played between Southampton and Norwich City - two sides who played well in their last fixtures. Jonny Howson grabbed the first goal in the third minute to put Norwich ahead, before Lucas Moura of Southampton levelled the scoring 9 minutes later. Maximilian Meyer scored the winner for Norwich, making the final score 2-1.
The penultimate game was between Stoke City and Cardiff City, which, at this early stage of the season, was an all-or-nothing game. They sat 20th and 19th respectively, and the winner of the game would shoot up the table. Marko Arnautovic opened the scoring for Stoke early on, before Fabio of Cardiff responded very quickly. There was another very quick response when Steven N'Zonzi of Stoke made the score 2-1 just a minute later. Zlatan Ibrahimovic then levelled the scoring in the second half, before John Guidetti scored the winner just minutes later. The final score was 3-2 to Stoke.
The final game was between Tottenham Hotspur and West Bromwich Albion. Roberto Soldado scored all of Tottenham's goals, in the 47th and 69th (ha, 69) minutes, and the score at White Hart Lane stayed at 2-0.

@Brick: I think that if West Ham just had Ribery and nobody else had any added players it would've been different, but they're West Ham.
@Pompet: Thanks, it's going to be interesting to see what happens, as most of the squads have been greatly affected.
@FMP: Thanks, I'm not quite sure why Everton aren't doing very well - they have Isco, Varane and Lewandowski...
