Trebel to Le Havre

This guy looks good. And I mean really good. And when I mean "he looks good" I mean his stats and potential look good. He is ginger of course.

Whilst browsing the internet, looking at footballing things, as any top manager does, I noticed the France U21 team's triumphs of late. I browsed the team and asked my scouts to look at a few of the players. Most were out of my league (quite literally) but this guy stood out. He was available for only £100,000 and had a potential through the roof, an absolute bargain.

So yeah, I picked him up for a knock-down price of £100,000 and put him on a salary of £4,900 a week. Both the fans and I are excited to see how my newly nicknamed "Ginja Ninja" gets on.

Name: Adrien Trebel
Age: 22
Position: MC

Pre Season Roundup

Le Havre AC 3-1 Le Havre AC Reserves

3' James Fanchone
45+1' Tristan Dingome
55' Tristan Dingome
86' Jean-Pascal Fontaine

A good result from the side here. They played well and adapted well to the formations I set. Without any new faces in the side yet they looked like a good unit and many players impressed, especially Tristan Dingome who looks absolute quality

FC Gratkorn 1-5 Le Havre AC

19' Tristan Dingome
23' Tristan Dingome
37' Yohann Riviere
41' Walid Mesloub
71' Hadi Sacko
87' Pascal Kronsteiner

Well, the result speaks for itself. When you win away 5-1 then either the other team is full of blind baby giraffes or your team had an absolute stormer. The fact that they looked like a team full of blind baby giraffes did not take any credit away from a fantastic performance from the team

Eschen/Mauren 0-4 Le Havre AC

31' Maxime Le Marchand
58' Maxime Le Marchand
65' Jean-Pascal Fontaine
85' Yohann Riviere

Another 4 goal drubbing of the other team. Newly made captain Maxime Le Marchand took the bull by the horns and scored two good goals, securing yet another solid result.

Celta Vigo 2-1 Le Havre AC

56' Charles
87' Tristan Dingome
90+1' Nolito

Celta Vigo are a decent team. Perhaps the first decent team we have encountered this pre season but we put of a very good fight and were unlucky to lose. I thought we had a draw nailed down but some shocking refereeing let the gorilla that is Nolito slot one in. I would have preferred for a gorilla to be the ref for this match as it would have performed better than the Neanderthal who "refereed" this match.

Hull City 1-2 Le Havre AC

28' Yohann Riviere
68' Jean-Pascal Fontaine
80' Yannick Sagbo

I've now had to buy a new computer as my old one died sue to water damage from the floods of tears I wept when Yannick Sagbo missed an absolute sitter in the 93rd minute. A fantastic result against a Premier League side caused for me to take £23000 out of the transfer budget. Why? I hear you ask. £1000 for each player who participated to spend on any stripper they want. They earned their evening's entertainment.

US Quevilly 2-1 Le Havre AC

11' Amath Diedhiou
81' Christopher Mayulu
Jean-Pascal Fontaine

I fined each player that participated £1000 for this absolutely disgusting performance. Both to recoup the money I spent on strippers and to punish them for this horrendous display. Rage does not describe my emotion right now.
Let's Talk Tactics

So, here's the tactic I'm going to use this season. Along with the strongest lineup (providing everyone is fit).

As a proud Gooner I've decided to adopt a quite Arsenal-esque approach with a holding midfielder, wingers and two playmakers in the midfield in the hope of controlling possession. 4 at the back works for most teams so I've decided to stick with that. As quite a keen hockey player I quite like to play with a right back who pushed forward heavily, basically as another midfielder, to offer another option on the attack. The left back usually sits back with the other defenders, offering cover.

Tactically, I've decided to go quite attacking but also trying to keep possession. This sticks with my Arsenal approach (possession wise) without the distinct lack of attacking threat that the Gunners seem to have.

Two New Faces at Le Havre

Harmeet Singh

Once again a big manager drops a clanger. This guy is good, he is a solid all round central midfielder. Why Feyenoord released him I don't know. I've been a bit disappointed with my midfield in pre season (besides Fontaine who has had an absolute stormer) so decided to shore it up. On a free and at 22 I think this is a pretty decent signing

Jody Viviani

Yeah. This guy's alright, I guess. He's a solid backup for my current keepers and could potentially challenge for a first team role. At 31 he's getting on a bit but sometimes you need to get experience in to the team to marshal the defence.

Yet Another Signing!

Apostolos Vellios

My team lacks a good striker. Riviere is alright and Sao sort of does a job but I need a man who will constantly perform. James wasn't happy as he thinks that Vellios is nearly reliable as an Icelandic bank. I'm hoping he does well as I've seen what the ex-Captain Peterson can do to a man that pisses him off.

I've only signed him on loan for the season so can chuck him back if doesn't deliver the goods. With good stats and a pretty good track record for the Greece U21s I'm feeling good about this move

Harmeet Singh is an insane signing for a Ligue 2 club. He just dimantled Vålerenga for Molde yesterday. Use Moussa Sissoko from your academy, and there's a striker (can't remember his name, it starts on V) who was really good for me as well. Sell Rivierez and sign Loris Nery from Valenciennes!
