Hi folks,

I'm looking to purchase a tablet and am wondering if anyone is able to play FM14 via Steam, on a tablet? If so, which tablet do you have thanks?

I'm currently looking at the Microsoft Surface Pro 128GB, or the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014. Does anyone play FM14 via Steam on these, or do you play via another tablet?

Thanks very much
The regular version of FM14 cannot be played on tablet. However, there is a version designed specifically for tablets and phones, called FM Handheld. It's not as good, but you should try it out.

Well I guess you could play it on Surface with Windows 8, couldn't you? You should meet minimum system requirements, but I don't know how the game handles this (whether it has a list of acceptable hardware or just checks the numbers). I don't own a Windows tab so I'm just thinking out loud. I know that it's no-go on Android tablets (beside the option to play pc version via remote control).

Thanks Mike - I already have FM on my laptop & am interested in if i could then continue playing a saved game, via Steam, on a tablet. I'm a career kind of player - like to play for many game years to build a dynasty.

Thanks again

Actually, additionally Mike, what do you mean by "the option to play pc version via remote control"? I don't know about this. thanks
You can run pc version on your computer and play it on the tablet by sharing the screen. So it's not tablet running it, but your computer, you just use tablet's screen instead of pc's, and of course tablet's controls for mouse and keyboard. It's not at all as good as running it on a windows tablet, but it's the only semi-acceptable alternative I know. Of course you're very limited - you have to run the game on the computer, so you can't use it for anything else, and you have to have constant (wireless) connection between pc and tablet. But that's all you can hope for if you don't have a windows tablet and don't like handheld version.
