Settling In

For the first time ever I'm actually having a bit of an issue with a player settling in to my squad and it turns out I have no idea how to do anything about it!

Started a new Liverpool game, and Riera, from the first day is having trouble settling in (weird seeing as hes the only buy this season who has played consistantly well at all). His morale never goes above good, usually drifts around okay. His team status is rotation, so he shouldnt mind Babel getting a few more games than him, but I rotate between the two fairly regularly, I praise him when he deserves it but to be honest all season hes got progressively worse.

Any ideas? Or similar experiences?

Normaly there should be there menu it should say allow absence blah blah to spain he goes home and comes back and they say that there not homesick anymore it happend to me with Dickson Etuhu

Its not because of that, I would reccomend to be more generous to him and don't slate him as much as the others

I dont really single him out very often cause to be honest he never really deserves it. Usually just gets the team talk rather than anything personal. Im usually a bit too generous with that though, assistant sometimes just says nothing at all, but a win always gets a well done minimum.

Blargh, if the little spanish bugger would just work for me I'd rain rose petals down on him and throw enough praise at him to actually cause minor bruising! And yet he persists in hating life....
