Rodgers Sets Sights On Champions League
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has set his sights on Champions League qualifications this season, this after they enjoyed a very successful end to last season. January signings Sturridge and Coutinho have already come in and made their mark on the team, and with a few more additions Rodgers firmly believes his reds can take the next step and finish in a top 4 spot this season.
"We have a terrific set of lads here. There is a real togetherness and everyone here is aiming for one thing, to bring this club back to where it belongs.. Europe. We finished last season on a high, Sturridge and Coutinho came in and brought more goals and creativity to this already talented group, this along with a couple of new additions and I can see us finishing in one of those four spots come the end of the season."
