Jefferson Montero joins Legia Warszawa

Jefferson Montero (on the picture) joined Legia in a deal of 1,960,000€

Legia Warszawa have confirmed the signing of the 23 year-old Ecuadorian Winger, Jefferson Montero from Morelia.
Montero has arrived at the Wojska Polskiego for almost 2M€, and manager and with a contract until June 2016. Montero was delighted with the facilities and the club.

“It’s great that Legia are in the Champions League and my biggest objective is to help them to go as far as possible."

Miguel Faria also explained that probably there will be no more transfers.

"An winger that plays both sides was our objective for this transfer season and we did it, probably that was our first and last transfer unless it appears a really good deal. Not only we fulfilled our objective, we also bought a star that would be really useful in any team. Jefferson is 23, so he is still really young. He has the potential to be a very good player and we hope that the quality at the club can help him grow."

Legia signs two key-players

Miguel Faria warned us that he wouldn't sign anyone else except the right deals appeared, and they did. Harmeet Singh and José Catalá have signed for Legia Warszawa.
Let's start with Harmeet Singh. He is a top enthusiastic midfielder and also known as Norwegian Iniesta seemed happy to join Legia.
"I think there may be many good experiences in the next few seasons", Singh, who penned his contract until 2016.
"Miguel is a very good coach, academically strong and committed. It was important that he had plans for how he would use me, I know that I get playing time in Legia so I can reach my goals as a footballer."

He has managed to make his way into Norway's senior national squad, and has three caps.

José Catalá, 28 years old left full-back was the other signing that Miguel Faria did. Catalá told us that he ain't on Legia just to be plus one on the squad he is here to be number one left back.
